Seeing the two also arrive, Time takes but a few moments to take a lay of the problem firsthand. So done, Cirno casts the Lesser Essence of Time into The World Scale Star, and the Lesser Essence of Ether(True) into the The Wildflame, yet strong still.

Cirno Fate Trigger Activates them, bringing forth surges of energy, which with her own presence bolstering The Lunar Light, sends the Stars back into battle for dominance. The Celestial Orb tries to hold them to it as the fight begins.

The Four Astral Bodies are now sending out equal amounts of power into the surrounding area. Control has an advantage due to being compatible or strong against them, while Thought has a weakness to Violence, but IT has comparability for the other 3.

Time, meanwhile, is strong against Chaos, weak to Violence, and compatible with Time and Balance.


"Control, leash the chains and stretch them till they break under your yoke. Thought, direct the energies and destroy the Celestial Orbs!"

"Together, end Destiny's dominion over this artifact. It is nothing in comparison."
Time speaks out to them.

The Essence of Time is used, and split, empowering Time, and through Time, the pure energy of the essence is sent directly to Thought and Control for their own actions.

Time Trigger!!!

The energies of Destiny, the Chains, the flow from the Domain of Destiny. Everything shall be frozen, Controlled, and shattered, broken.
(Control Aspect of Time, Freeze Destiny whole and parcel. None shall remain unaffected, but that which becomes purged of corruption, be it purified or destroyed.)



Note, the Astral Bodies will naturally return to there positions with a small push do to it being part of their movement in each. Other than the Hydra-Sun, but it is the center.

Monarch does as asked, using the powers of Control to weaken and break apart the Chains. Even directly wiping them from existence if able.

Action: Coordinated assault. Destroy the Celestial Orbs Entirely. Move the Astral bodies back into position. Then Time leaves back through the Gates.



after the destruction and the astral bodies have been moved back into position.

You two are welcome to stay here, or return. For now, I need to get back.

Action: Return through the Gates, and travel back to my Domain. Then head on up to the Source to rest for a bit.
Time Trigger anyone who happens to be in my Domain and kick them out.

Also, unfreeze Bigsy so he can follow orders again.

(OOC)



Cycle 1, Third Distant Phase:

The Mortal Plane and Astral Planes are still fully separated... Interactions between them are minimal. The next phase will be a Rising Phase.
Gate Cost Modifier [Only affect Gates connecting to the Mortal Plane]: +3 Power
Cost of Creation/Alteration/Destruction +3 Power to all creation/alteration/destruction actions targeting the Mortal Plane
Dormant Gates are Inactive.
Entities in the Astral Planes are no longer able to interact with the Mortal Plane, unless they stand in a Plane with a Gate connecting to the Mortal Plane.

== Of Violence ==

A call was sent from the Original Violence, to which answered Chaos, Thought, Balance, and Control. Each god shared a part of their power to Motion like Violence in order to support a common cause.
10 Power from Chaos, as well as an Essence of Chaos, ever-changing and brimming with untold potential.
4 Power from Thought.
6 Power from Balance.
1 Power from Control.

And to further fuel its coming actions, Motion like Violence consumed 2 Lesser Essences of Violence to gain 2 Power. Now overflowing with a power that no God ever held before, the Original Violence set to work.

Motion like Violence screamed words of order, words of power to the world and the souls of those that died. All that died bowed to the Law of Eternal Ascension, be they the soul of a plant, an animal, or a mortal. Now bound by words of Violence, the souls of the dead manifested in the Mortal Plane.


The throat most sore from all this screaming, Motion like Violence conjured a glob of divine bile through the mouth of one of the Worldsharks which was spat on the lifeless husk of Bitey. In an act of power most divine, the soul of the Worldshark that was once gone was reconstructed from nothing, and infused into the corpse.

In an unsurprisingly violent fashion, Motion like Violence screamed an Army of Servants into existence at the location of each Moontoad with the goal of destroying corruption from their hosts, and next the Worldsharks.


The seemingly all-powerful Violence was still not done, and her burning will manifested into an army worth of Heroic Artifacts that engulfed the Moontoads and the Gatecrasher Legion.

Having finally expended all of its power, Motion like Violence let out a sigh of satisfaction. Surely such world-changing acts would assert her position of power over all cosmos.

Consuming the newly harvested Essence and Lesser Essence of Havoc, Adam set out to work.

One of the last Corrupted Origins to contest the rule of the Origins, Adam conjured an army of Radiant humanoids, the Celestial Blades.

So that the Law of Eternal Ascension may be written by Violence, Chaos handed a gift of Power and Essences to Motion like Violence.

Using their remaining power, Azeri' kith brought forth an army of Lesser Servants, the Skitterers. For now these Lesser Servants were left to their own devices in the Realm of Chaos, producing more of their numbers.

Then in accordance to some secret agreement, Goasis sent a gift of Power to Motion like Violence.

Despite no Essence having appeared, a mysterious anomaly caused a Lesser Essence of Control to appear right before Monarch. The Elemental God of Control then extracted the power from 2 Lesser Essences of Control.

Then Monarch raised from its Realm an army of Servants: the Custodial Legion. These robed figures were ordered to wipe away all corruption from the Subdomains of Control, and to stand watch for any Essence.


In a meaningful act for a God, Monarch sent 1 Power to Motion like Violence.

With its remaining power, Monarch created several Heroic Artifacts in the form of a fantastic material which they seeded in the lands of the Nox.


[Contact: the Noxian Sovereign] A prophetic message was sent to the Sovereign, followed by the knowledge of Nigredine working. He then slouched on his throne, waiting for the coming of Time.

"Heed my words. The giant you live upon will soon wake once again. The crystalblood will return to its original form. The crystal in your hands will serve as a replacement, in time. As for the abhorrent Radiance, a fellow of mine intends to deal with it. If not, I will crush it myself soon."

[Movement] Monarch moved with Cirno to the Subdomain of Thought, then with It and Cirno to the Mortal Plane.



== Of Nature ==

Mixed feelings swirled in the heart of Metaphyr. She saw what was wrong, and what needed to be corrected. To that end she drew a drop of her divine Ichor, and in the World Tree -her Realm- which was placed on Elt appeared an Aspect of Nature: Vital, the Great Sentient Slime. Vital was then given a purpose, to return Elt to a world of glory as intended by Metaphyr.


[Dreams] Spriggans and Dryads dreamt of the Elemental God of Nature. Many forgot, few kept a lingering feeling from these.



== Of Crafting, Fire, and Earth ==


Realizing the need of more military might to protect his assets, Farnax forged an Army of Servants that was sent to assist the Lesser Bronze Kin.

Corrupted Hope chomped on 2 Essences of Hope, feeling renewed and ready to tackle greater tasks.

In the Corrupted Domain of Hope, the Raja wished an Army of Greater Servants into existence, the Naga. Secret orders were then given by their Creator.


Though before creating the Naga, the Raja opened a singing gate from the Corrupted Domain of Hope to the Second Corrupted Domain of Hope, and stepped through as imaginary dancers and worshippers sung the glory of the Raja.



== Of Time ==

Drawing from its very Ichor, Time forged a Shard of Time. An egg of immaculate crystal, the size of a world in itself, phasing in and out of the view of any who would lack the true sight.


Using the newly formed Cosmic Egg, Cirno Fate Trigger turned a natural Major Gate into a True Gate. Endless revolutions centered around the Gate as the Origin of Time swirled, until they all converged into a great implosion.

[Travel to Sub-Domain of Thought] Passing through the True Gate, Cirno moved to the Sub-Domain of Thought where they spoke with the Nameless God. At the same time, they tried to calm the Worldsharks by speaking to their thoughts.

The Cosmic Egg spiraled once more, causing a True Gate to appear from a Major Gate.

[Travel to Sub-Domain of Control] Cirno stepped through this Gate, followed by Criticality the Aspect of Thought. There, Cirno spoke to Monarch, asking them to help them cleanse the Corruption from the Mortal Plane.

[Travel to Domain of Time] The discussion successfully over, Cirno returned to the Domain of Time by passing through the Subdomain of Control.

Once again, the Cosmic Egg opened a True Gate from a Major Gate, this time connecting the Domain of Time and the Subdomain of Life. So many Gates opened caused even the mighty Cosmic Egg to pulse dangerously.

[Travel to Sub-Domain of Life] Gating through, they spoke to Arkai.

[Travel to Sub-Domain of Thought] And returned to the Subdomain of Thought, where Cirno rallied It to the cause.

In one last tremendous display of power, Cirno Fate Trigger made the Cosmic Egg to open a True Gate to the Mortal Plane. Spent by all the previous endeavours, it was a miracle that the Cosmic Egg did not collapse from such a task!

In a dangerously close future, the Cosmic Egg could have collapsed under the strain of opening four successive True Gates. But a miraculous intervention bent the laws for an instant, causing the True Gate to successfully open.

As a consequence all other True Gates maintained by the Cosmic Egg violently collapsed, returning to their original state. Unstable and emptied of all its power, the Cosmic Egg kept the True Gate open, but would surely be unable to be used over the next phase...



== Of Thought ==

The Elemental God of Thought sent 4 Power to Violence so that the world may be restored to a better shape.

The Realm of Thought was placed in the first Subdomain of Thought.

Acquiring the Lesser Essences of Thought from their Subdomains, the Goddess of Faces then extracted their energy into 4 Power.

From their own blood, It brought forth a being in their image, an Aspect of Thought named Criticality. It was then sent to assist Cirno Fate Trigger, after which It also followed.


[Movement] The Goddess of Faces moved along with Cirno and Monarch to the Mortal Plane.



== Of Life ==

Arkai harvested the Essence of Life from the First Subdomain of Life.

The Paladins of Xervild started to prepare the Realm of Life to be transported to Elt. It will take them the whole phase to be ready to move the Realm of Life.

Using all of its power, and thanks to the providence from something above, Arkai wrote the Law of Arkai, an Absolute Universal Law that tied Life to all entities classified as a living thing.

------Event: the fate of the Celestial Orbs------

In the Mortal Plane, a great struggle of power was ongoing at the theater of the Astral Bodies battle against each others. At the core of that conflict, the Celestial Orbs, shackling them together, as well as the very nature of the Astral Bodies, eating at each other.

Already present were the Moontoads, working on the destruction of the abhorrent Orbs ever since the previous cycle. Soon enough the Purifire arrived to their help, sent by Azeri' kith to restore the Astral balance between the Stars.

Before the Gods could arrive, the Aspects of Violence and the Aspects of Chaos joined hands to complete their task.

Destruction Attempt against the Golden Celestial Sphere:
No present actor possesses enough power to Destroy the Celestial Spheres. A Destruction Attempt will then proceed.

The Purifires [6CP, Thought, Group] are Strong against Destiny (+1CP). The best roll of two (d10)+7 will be used.
The Moontoads [7CP, Violence, Group] are Strong against Destiny (+1CP).
The Moontoads are empowered by an Era of Violence (+1CP).
The best roll of two (d10)+9 will be used.
The Celestial Orbs resisted the weakening effect of the Purifires.
The Golden Celestial Sphere [Unit] has been assigned a difficulty rating of 25. A result above 25 is required to destroy the Sphere in one blow. A result of 12 or more will damage the Sphere.

Purifires: [6,9]+7 = 16
Moontoads: [2,1]+9 = 11

The words of the Purifires seared the Golden Celestial Sphere with Thought, causing it to crack and start breaking down. But the Sphere was still a Shard, and so did manage to avoid destruction.

The Golden Celestial Sphere has been damaged



------Event: Gods in the Mortal Plane------

Then before the Hydra-Sun appeared in their divine presence three Gods.
Cirno Fate Trigger the Original Time.
Monarch the Elemental Control.
And It the Elemental Thought. as well as Criticality who was awkwardly making itself small

The presence of such pure and tremendous entities immediately caused the Origins and Elements of the vicinity to burn and change, putting a terrific strain on the scene of battle.

The presence of the Original God of Time is greatly weakening the following entities: the Moontoads, the Wildflame, and the Hydra-Sun.
The presence of the Original God of Time is greatly strengthening the following entities: the Lunar Light, and the World Scale Star.

The presence of the Elemental God of Control is weakening the following entities: the Wildflame, the World Scale Star, and the Celestial Orbs.
The presence of the Elemental God of Control is strengthening the following entities: the Moontoads, the Purifires, the Lunar Light, and the Hydra-Sun.

The presence of the Elemental God of Thought is weakening the following entities: the Celestial Orbs.
The presence of the Elemental God of Thought is strengthening the following entities: the Purifires, the Lunar Light, the World Scale Star, and the Wildflame.


Then Cirno Fate Trigger brought two Lesser Essences, and an Essence.

Cirno Fate Trigger cast and activated a Lesser Essence of Time into The World Scale Star. The World Scale Star has been strengthened by the activation.
Cirno Fate Trigger cast and activated a Lesser Essence of Ether(True) into the The Wildflame. The Wildflame has been weakened by the activation.
Cirno Fate Trigger activated an Essence of Time, causing the Origin of Time to overflow in the vicinity.
The Moontoads, the Wildflame, and the Hydra-Sun have been further weakened.
The Lunar Light, and the World Scale Star have been further strengthened.

The Hydra-Sun seems to have returned to its original glow.
The Lunar Light's power is spiraling out of control!
The World Scale Star casts a powerful light on the worlds.
The Wildflame has been extinguished!



Destruction Attempt against the Celestial Orbs:
No present actor possesses enough power to Destroy the Celestial Spheres. A Destruction Attempt will then proceed.


The Purifires and the Moontoads have already acted.
Cirno Fate Trigger (10CP) is wielding the first half of the Trigger, weaker than the whole (+4CP). Cirno is empowered by an activated Essence of Time (+3CP). Roll 3d10+17
Monarch (10CP) is empowered by an activated Essence of Time (+3CP). Roll 2d10+13
It (10CP) is empowered by an activated Essence of Time (+3CP). Roll 2d10+13

The Celestial Spheres [Group] have been assigned an individual difficulty rating of 25. The damaged Golden Sphere has been assigned a difficulty rating of 20.
Except for the Golden Sphere, a result above 25 will destroy one Sphere. A result above 12 will damage one Sphere. A result above 45 will destroy all the spheres.

Cirno: 16+17 = 34
Monarch: 10+13 = 23
It: 16+13 = 29

The three God focused each on one Celestial Orb.

The Origin of Time poured into the Bronze Sphere, its Destiny becoming frozen, its Origin losing all meaning as it yielded to Time. Led into a forward spiral that continued beyond the perceived Destiny of the Spheres, the Bronze Sphere broke down, and vanished as it was destroyed.

Next as the chains crumbled, Control subjugated the Destiny within the damaged Golden Orb. As Control brought order and command superior to the order of Destiny, the Golden Sphere submitted and crumbled into nothingness.

And finally, the Thought of the Goddess of Faces surrounded the Silver Sphere. It spoke to the Destiny within the Sphere, changing it in subtle ways. Until soon enough, the Sphere lost its Destiny, disappearing as a mere thought.

The Celestial Orbs have been Destroyed
Moratus suffered a terrible wound of 3 Ichor as a result




------Event: Returning the Astral Bodies to their rightful places------

With the Orbs destroyed, the three Gods returned the Astral Bodies to their original positions. The Hydra-Sun in the designated center, the Wildflame at the edge of the system, and the World Scale Star and Lunar Light orbiting around the Hydra-Sun.

But with the weakened Hydra-Sun and the out-of-control Lunar Light, the balance of the Stars once more changed...



------Hidden Actions of the Gods------


== Of Violence ==

[Absolute Universal Law: The Law of Nope (-9P -1EoV)] A single word was uttered in a roar from Motion like Violence. And with that single word, Violence sealed the fate of all beings of Corrupted Origins across all Planes. A horrifying Law was written, one that would surely spell the end of them all.

WORLD TURN



AGES


A dual Eclipse of Time and Balance is taking place over all of the Mortal Plane.
An Era of Time and Balance is ongoing on Multitude.
An Era of Time and Balance is ongoing Jigsaw.
An Era of Time and Balance is ongoing on all of the Inner Worlds.
An Era of Time and Balance is ongoing on Bitey.
An Era of Time and Balance is ongoing on Elt.






Changes in the Astral Balance: a dual eclipse of Time and Balance


With the Celestial Orbs destroyed and the Astral Bodies returned to their original positions, one may have believed that the actions of the three Gods would have returned the universe to its balanced, undisturbed state. But alas, it wouldn't be. For the Gods had undestimated the effects an Original God in close proximity of four Astral Bodies would have had on the Mortal Plane.

The very presence of Cirno Fate Trigger, Original God of Time, alone would have caused its immediate vicinity to break down into Time. But the activation of an Essence of Time, combined with the presence of the Lunar Light as well as the other Astral Bodies caused an imbalance greater than it ever was previously. While once the Hydra-Sun shone voraciously, devouring the light of the other bodies in relatively equal matters, now the Lunar Light and the World Scale Star had taken its place as dominant Astral Body. As such, they sucked the Wildflame dry of all light, the star already weakened by the combined actions of the Gods.

A lightless husk which to add insult onto injury, was returned to the lightless edge of the system. Now constantly shadowed by its two satellite stars, the Hydra-Sun shone shyly, unable to contest the blaze of two invigorated stars.

As such, the Origin of Chaos weakened across all the worlds that once benefited from its nourrishing light. Violence became tamer, while Time and Balance, as well as the Element of Ether(True) increased in dramatic proportions from seas to heavens.




IN ASTRAL PLANES



Events: Servants of Radiance

Before the Law of Nope could be passed, all Servants of Radiance moved in the planes pertaining to their respective missions. Half the Dust Motes and half the Celestial Blades gated to the Corrupted Domain of Destiny where Moratus remained ominously silent. They started setting to work, but the presence of Destiny itself was too strong for lowly Servants to even change a portion of Destiny into Radiance. Worse still, the weakest Servants started suffering from abnormal thoughts and behaviors as their inner Origin started being affected by Destiny.

Then suddenly, all Servants of Radiance shuddered in terror as a searing word appeared in their minds: NOPE. All their powers of Gate creation were gone, and their ability to reproduce and create more of them had been taken away. The Celestial Blades and Dust Motes of the Corrupted Domain of Destiny were now stranded and unable to reproduce. The same was happening to the Dust Motes of the newest Corrupted Domain of Radiance.



Events: the civilization of Radiance

Only the Celestial Blades who remained in the same plane as Adam managed to resist these effects, all thanks to the presence of Radiance itself. Yet the effects of the Law of Nope still took hold, causing them to reproduce very slowly and need more power than usual to open Gates. The Celestial Blades of the first Corrupted Domain of Radiance thus worked on a budding civilization.

As an Astral Plane, the Corrupted Domain of Radiance comprised of only one thing. Pure, unaltered Radiance. The Celestial Blades had been gifted with the ability to shape such Radiance into blades, tools, and other objects. They did what they knew best, crafting swords without sleep, never knowing dawn or twilight in a world of pure Radiance.

Experimenting and seeking to make themselves complete, they crafted amazing blades of Radiance. Their whole culture revolved around forging and honing their mastery of the sword. All they did was build blades and tools to sharpen and shape them. They had no concept of territory, and didn't build house or anything that help them call a place home. Each and every crime was resolved by sword duels, and the gravest crime was stealing. Two laws guided their society:

The law of ownership, which stated that any named item belonged to its namer.
The law of the sword, which stated that the strongest swordsmaster was the de facto ruler of their civilization.

The Civilization of Radiance has been created in the Domain of Radiance


Events: Conflict in the domains of Havoc

Cut off from the Domains of Radiance and unable to produce more of them, the scales tipped heavily in favor of the Servants of Violence in the battle for Havoc supremacy. Reinforced by the Blood Rain and equiped with Fires of Violence, the Moontoad Havocwar assisted by the Gate-Crasher Legion made short of work of the Dust Motes of the Second Subdomain of Havoc.

The Gate-Crasher Legions working on purifying the First Domain of Havoc found themselves winning in the corruption/purification race, all thanks to the Law of Nope neutering the capabilities of the Dust Motes. The Dust Motes that didn't flee from the Domain of Havoc were thus all destroyed, allowing the Gate-Crasher Legions to purify the domains undisturbed.

In the third Subdomain of Havoc, all surviving Dust Motes gathered. They were much fewer in numbers than before, having lost close to the two third of their numbers. Unable to reproduce, they diverted their energy to corrupting the plane as quickly as possible. With all the remaing Dust Motes concentrated in one place, they succeeded.

Events: Cleaning operations in Balance

Mr Bigsy couldn't fulfill his task immediately, still frozen by Cirno in the Subdomain of Thought until he was finally released after a the God of Time had finished all of its actions. Holding a grudge against the God of Time for interfering in its work and worsening the situation in the Subdomain of Thought. To get back at the god, Bigsy worked with renewed vigor, cleaning the Subdomain of Thought as well as the Domain of Balance with the help of his cleaning crew.

He didn't destroy the Corruption, and instead dumped it to the Subdomain of Ether(True) through the connected gates. As a consequence, the Subdomain of Ether(True) ended up with a taint of corruption.

Events: Whereabouts of the Iotas of Hope

The Iotas remained jolly and kawaii, patrolling the Domains of Hope with chants and glee. They heard the NOPE, and couldn't help but quiver and make a sad ,UwU, face as they sadly whimpered "waaaah". Content with the pleasant nature of the Domains of Hope, they didn't venture into other domains.

The Blackened Angels continued patrolling the domains of Chaos, on the lookout for any budding trace of corruption.


Events: Whereabouts of the Custodial Legion

The Custodial Legion set out to return the tainted Subdomain of Control to its former state. Channeling the powers of Control, they eventually succeeded in their task.

Corruption: The Nagas in the Subdomain of Growth

The Nagas, Greater Servants of the Feathered Raja, appeared in the peaceful Subdomain of Growth where they proceeded to guzzle the Element of Growth, converting it into Hope. They heard the NOPE, and trembled, but didn't stop. With the treat of the Law of Nope hanging above their heads, the Nagas realized the importance of their mission and ate away at an amazing speed. To further accelerate the conversion, they pulled Hope from the Gates of the Subdomain of Growth, causing the Hope of the nearby Domains to flood there.

And so in record time they succesfully converted the remaining Subdomain of Growth into a Corrupted Domain of Hope. With their task done, they proceeded to take the Major Gate to the Second Domain of Creation.

The last Subdomain of Growth has been turned into a Corrupted Domain of Hope!


Events: CLeansing of the Second Domain of Violence

Groups of Gatecrashers split from the main force to complete different assigned tasks. Several of such groups were sent to the Second Domain of Violence to purge the taint of Destiny. Rooting out the budding Destiny from Violence, they succeeded in their task.

Conflict: Hope and Violence in the Second Domain of Creation

Meanwhile other groups of Gatecrashers were sent to harvest the Lesser Essences of the Domains of Creation. Fortune smiled on the Greater Servants, who found the Lesser Essences without having to scour the Domains in their whole expanse. But as they prepared to return to Violence to bring their bounty back to Motion like Violence, Greater Servants of Hope intercepted them!

With slittery words and venomous voices, the Nagas swarmed the numerically inferior Gatecrashers. They despaired, for Hope was everywhere, its words of Liberation penetrating through their souls of Violence. They fought back bravely and violently, but the words of Hope erroded their wills and many chose to self-liberate rather than doubt Violence. The rest of the group were left as broken wrecks of fallen Greater Servants, with a few even starting to believe in Hope.

The Nagas then liberated the Lesser Essences of Creation, grabbing them in the name of Hope.

EMPTY EXPANSES



Event: the Restoration of Bitey

Proving that she was indeed almighty, Motion like Violence restored the body and soul of Bitey. Having shown the way of Violence to the distraught Worldsharks, they resumed their eternal conflict with renewed Violence, and love. They ripped apart the flesh of their brothers, taking from them, and were ripped apart in answer, being taken from. Sharing with their brothers the ways of Violence as only three Worldsharks could.

There was still something a little different within Bitey. The Worldshark felt a little tingle within himself, unaware of the Radiant parasite that was burrowing within its bowels, too deep for the shallow bites of the Worldshark to reach.


Conflict: Worldsharks, Moontoads and a Purifire

Under direct orders from Motion like Violence, the four Moontoads of the Mortal Plane set out to purge the Radiant Leviathan from Bitey with assistance from the second Purifire, sent by Azeri' kith. But as they approached the Worldsharks, the Worldsharks saw their froggy legs as most tasty. The Purifire also looked quite exquisite in its own way, and Jigsaw himself reminded them that he once said he wouldn't attack the Moontoads if they didn't disturb him, and as long as the annoying Ardual was still alive. And with the latter having been wiped from existence, it stood to reason that the Worldsharks should partake on a froggy and lettery meal.

The Moontoads attempted to explain the Worldsharks of the importance of their task, but their explanations fell into deaf ears. And so the salivating Worldsharks lunged at the fat Moontoads and the Purifire.

A vicious fight ensued as three world-sized sharks hunted moon-sized toads wielding flames of rainbow. And some glowing jumbled textbook. Despite a greater firepower, the Moontoads and the Purifire were defeated by the raw power and viciousness of the Worldsharks. Each of them ended up losing a limb/organ or two to the ravenous Worldsharks who rejoiced at the exquisite taste of the Moontoads.

The Moontoads and the Purifire decided to retreat before further damage was suffered, rationalizing that taking too much damage before even facing the Leviathan could cause them to fail their mission.





Across Worlds: the Greatest War


I - Prelude to disaster: rising tensions within the Chaos Alliance (Chaos Land)

The unstoppable country of Conacio kept growing stronger than ever, bringing growth and progress to all members of the Chaos Alliance. Many believed that the great alliance would last for millenia and that someday, all nations of the Chaos Alliance would rule the 9 known worlds. But with time and the effects of the dual Eclipse of Time and Balance, Inesians and Galfaeans forgot the original meaning of the Chaos Alliance. Admiration turned to resentment. Bonds of friendship became shackles of grudges. They turned jealous of the Conacs progress, blaming them for stunting the growth of their respective countries by stealing great minds and limiting their freedom. Slowly a nemesis to the Alliance was growing due to the energies of Balance.

Matters pertaining to the Alliance started becoming increasingly more strained as a consequence. With conspiring extremists, patiently lying in wait for the day an opportunity would present itself. Individuals of cold and calculating behavior became increasingly numerous due to the energies of Time.


II - The Day of Violence: start of the War, and end of the Chaos Alliance


On what would be known as the day of Violence, Earthegg the Moontoad appeared in Chaos Land and in less than an hour destroyed the capital of Conacio, center of innovation and seat of power of the Chaos Alliance, as well as three other major cities. The same disaster happened in Galfae, causing the Chaos Alliance to crumble as Inesia was left unharmed under the protection of the monstrosity that killed untold numbers of Conacs and Galfaeans.

Using this once in a lifetime occasion, the prepared conspirators of Inesia first took control of the nation with a coup after which they immediately declared war on the weakened nations of Conacio and Galfae, invading them with a lightning assault as they still were still stunned and distraught by the calamity that befell them. The Greatest War was the first war since the development of cyclo-alchemical weapons, which had been designed to be used against the mighty Chaos Beasts. As such never before had these weapons been pointed at people, and never anyone with a heart would have, knowing the destructive potential of such weapons.

But this era was different, and people were in control of their emotions. It was simply war after all, and it was natural to use the most efficient weapons. Settlements were levelled overnight by rains of alchemical fire and mechanized vehicles of fearsome firepower. Soldiers and conscripts fought and killed with cold efficiency, following orders and closing their hearts. Lands were rendered inhabitable by terrifying chemical weapons derived from the toxic elements of Elt, defaced by alchemical bombs and burnt to the ground to deny assets to invaders.

All of Chaos Land was burning with the flame of wars, and Inesia supported by Earthegg would have eradicated the remaining pockets of resistance in no time if the Harken Tal didn't intervene.

III - Rise of the Harken Tal legions: the beyond conquest

When news came that war had broken in Chaos Land, the Noxian Sovereigns refused to assist any country, sending that their old alliance was with the now gone Chaos Alliance. Returning to their roots as an Empire of conquests, the Noxian Sovereigns ordered all of Harken Tal to prepare for the greatest conquest of all Nox history. They waited for the Inesians to overstretch, and launched a surprise attack on Inesia with a first wave of last generation Dracarms deep inside Inesian lands due to the location of the Temple of Time. Their vast military experience and superior tactics allowed them to effortlessly crush the Inesian forces and take initial control of the Temple of Time network.


Aware of the threat that posed the Moontoad Earthegg, the Noxian Sovereigns themselves led the assault in their custom-made Imperial Dracarms. And as they had expected the Moontoad appeared to crush the Noxian vanguard, and in a cunning gambit they invoked the names of Monarch and Motion like Violence, telling that a battle between them would have greater repercussions than what Earthegg could imagine. Assailled with doubt, Earthegg stopped and considered the words of the Sovereigns. After a lengthy and tense discussion, it was agreed neither the Moontoad or the Sovereigns would personally intervene in the war. The Sovereigns rejoiced, knowing this deal had assured their victory: they had absolute confidence in the undefeated armies of Harken Tal.


Now pressured on three fronts, the actions of Harken Tal pushed Inesia to the edge which led to the deployment of the most desperate weapons. In the end the Inesian couldn't push the Nox back, but the Nox couldn't advance either. A stalemate seemed to have been reached, until the Inesians unkowingly made a critical mistake. In order to prevent further Nox reinforcements to come through the Temple of Time, the Inesian launched a desperate coordinated assault on the temple in order to destroy it. Sacrificing their forces to detonate an experimental Chaos-alchemical bomb, they succeeded in destroying the Temple of Time, causing the Nox to end up stranded in Chaos Land.

Or so they thought.

Unbeknowst to anyone, the Temples of Time could not merely be destroyed. Immediately it reformed in a different location in Chaos Land, and the reinforcement of Harken Tal were greatly surprised to appear in a different location than intended. Understanding the incredible strategical value of controlling the Temple of Time, the Nox used the reforming property of the Temple to constantly move the Temple by destroying it, allowing them to strike in unexpected points and even allow their troops to retreat quickly to regroup.

Unable to predict where the Temple would reform and where the Nox would next strike, the Inesian started losing the war.


IV - The war rages on

The war still rages on, with the Nox on the way to victory. Chaos Land has been completely defaced, and the dormant Chaos Children have awoken, destroying many refugees camps and military bases in their rampages.

The war rages on. Incredible technological progress has been made by all involved civilizations in the development of weapons and strategies. Billions of mortals have died.



ON JIGSAW


With the Lunar Light and the World Scale Star casting their light upon the world of Jigsaw, a change occured for its Violent Web. The disappearance of the nourrishing Wildflame and the weakening of the empowering Hydra-Sun caused all life on Jigsaw to grow less fierce, tamer and more fragile. Competition lessened as a whole, except for the few species that held on to the old ways of Violence due to their extreme aggression potential during the Era of Violence. Rising as apex predators, these lava beasts in the shape of gigantic acari had exoskeletons of hardened rock and magmatic furnaces for stomach able to digest all kind of Jigsawan lifeform.

ON MULTITUDE


Multitude cooled down, causing its molten surface to settle into massive deserts of rock. This drastic climate change caused many pure lava-species to go extinct, and with adaptation some survived and took a dry, rocky appearance. The effects of the dual Eclipse seemed stronger on the Multitudean Violent Web, which lost its Violent predisposition and instead turned into docile creatures living slow lives of eating rocks and basking in the light of the eclipse to fuel their bodily functions.

And with the dual eclipse, the Plants of Time grew from nothing with tremendous speed, turning the desertic Multitude into great forests and grasslands within which the peaceful Violent Web thrived.

ON THE SPLEEN WORLD


The great lava ocean that had become the Spleen World also started cooling down, but the location of the Spleen World allowed it to keep a higher temperature than the surface Multitude. As a consequence many islands appeared as large portions of molten rock solidified. A few pure lava oceanic creatures started moving from the seas to such landmasses, evolving into land-based creatures.

Plants of Time resilient to the insane heat covered the islands very quickly, their ash and blood red leafage gracing these lands with a wide palette of reddish hues.

The Spleen World is incorporating Balance and Time with a preference for Time



ON VINAYA, OR WAS IT XINAYA?


The natural catastrophes disappeared as the climate cooled, and the magma rains stopped. And now even the light shining on Vinaya was different, it was a cold and numbing light, one that caused emotions to dimmen and rationality to strenghten. The hot and desertic lands became lush again as the blessing of Cirno operated full force thanks to the eclipse, allowing all Vinayans to recover from the past era.

Vadita, Kingdom of Harmony

The dreary NOPE made the Acharya realizes that the powers above would oppose the liberation of the souls. Understanding the deeper meanings of the Raja's secret orders, they saw that time was of essence and that they had to enlighten as many mortals as possible before it was too late. And so they announced the First Liberation, causing the Vaditan to rejoice and break into prayers.

First were selected the devout less important members of society. Liberation was to favor the weak, as delaying one's liberation to ensure the liberation of another was an act of pure selflessness. And so each and every liberated walked before the very Acharya who themselves oversaw the release from the abhorrent cycle. And in a culmination of Hope, their souls were fred from all laws, forever.

Struck by a fever of zeal, the Vaditans worked harder than ever to ensure all could be liberated in due time, before the malevolent forces of despair arrived to strip all Hope from Vadita. After all, the recent signs proved that the Acharya were right. First the climate softened, and the rains of magma stopped. Then the Devora and Impure Drui were struck by a curse of infertility which according to the Acharya was a telltale sign that the malevolent forces wished to trap all souls and bar them from Liberation.

Three great individuals sprung from these troubled times.
Pahaspari the creator and leader of the Hand of the Acharya, a group of elite liberated warrior-priests sent to bring Hope to the most hopeless.
Vaeyara the Elder, wisest of the Council and one of the most trusted Sluda of the Acharya. Using his great wisdom, he improved the condition of all Vaditans, bringing Hope to many.
Di-Ruo the One who Saw, an Impure Drui who rallied even the most skeptical Drui under the banner of Hope, after an intense incense-induced pseudo-prophetic dream caused him to see what would happen were the malevolent forces to win. He became a Kshatriya after his late father died to natural causes.

Vadita has initiated the first Liberation. Vaditans are ecstactic! Vaditans is giving rise to famous individuals.

The search of the Coffer-World by the Kshatriya

The Kshatriya scoured Xinaya in search for the fabled Coffer-World of Xervild. Their search brought them far and wide, in uncharted lands and seas. But they could not find the fabled Coffer-World.


Conflict: Spriggans of Noha, Settlement of Lilyvald and the Dryads of the Forest

With the disappearance of the magma rains and the softer living conditions of the era, all Spriggan and Dryad civilizations of Vinaya managed to rebuild into distinct nations. And now no longer busy trying to survive, and with enough resources and people to consider expanding, the various Spriggan/Dryad nations burst into a cold, calculated war.

With their emotions and attachments lessened by the Era of Time and Balance, the Spriggans and Dryads found it much easier to kill. It was just a rational, justified act of war. At the end of the war only one nation remained, that of the Dryad nation of Lilyvald. Developping a complex system of slavery based on subtle brainwashing of the vanquished, the Dryad-led nation of Lilyvald overcame its enemies and grew stronger with each crushed enemy.

Sensing the despair of the slaves, the Acharya brought the ideas of Liberation to the enslaved masses, causing unrest to grow within Lilyvald as the cult of Hope spread within the slaves, and even the Dryad nobility.

Now after an era of tension, Lilyvald is about to erupt into a deadly civil war.

An exceptional Dryad emerged from the wars, none other than Hyaselaryllis the Lady of Nature, de facto ruler of Lilyvald. She was born with such charisma that people would rather die than be denied the privilege to be one of her slaves. Those who followed her were fanatically loyal to her.

Lilyvald has become an empire built on slavery. Unrest is brewing, Hope is taking roots. The Lady of Nature rules supreme.


Event: the conquest of Canoha, now Noxian stronghold

Canoha developped at a fantastic pace, turning into a Chaosian colony of exceptional renown before even the cooling of the climate. Some genius Chaos engineer managed to replicate the Spriggan powers of trait absorption in a fantastic synthetic material which at first was called Synthetic Spriggan Skin. It was quickly renamed to Synthegan due to the bad marketability of the first name.

Before Synthegan could be spread to the other worlds, a disaster befell on the main world. The reports told of how several Conac and Galfaean megapoles were wiped out by a Moontoad, causing the death of billions. The event also caused Inesia to sever ties with Galfae and Conacio, and to take control of the Temple of Time transportation system. A first Inesia expeditionary force demanded the Canoha to recognize Inesia as it sovereign state, causing a first skirmish that was barely won by the Canohans. Most Canohans being of Conac nationality or ancestry, it was then decided that Canoha would sever tie with Inesia. To that end the Temple of Time was sealed and guarded by a military fortress.

All these measures were useless when the Nox and their Dracarms came through the Temple. Despite a fearsome resistance, the colony of Canoha was subjugated in no time and transformed into a Harken Tal military outpost. Researchers working on Synthegan were taken to the Nox homeworld, where they were made to develop better materials to fuel the war effort. As war rages on in Chaos Land, all resources are focused there and the expansion into Vinaya has been put on hold.

ON XERVILD


The eclipse combined with the blessing of Cirno caused Xervild to become a verdant land untouched by the corrupting hand of civilization.

Drui and Nox: the massacre of the Drui

With the rise of Harken Tal as a multiworld empire, the research outpost of Xervild was turned into a colony aiming to exploit the rich resources of this pristine world. One day the woodcutters of Harken Tal came across the Pure Druis, who had long become aware of these destroyers of the forests. The native Druis attempted to eject the intruders from their forests, and were very successful at first thanks to their great powers.

But event heir powers were useless before the full might of the Harken Tal military, who sent a subjugation force to conquer the natives. Merciless and uncaring of the ecosystems, the Nox massacred the Druis and burnt down the forests with Chaosian weapons. And in no time many lush lands of Xervild were turned into mines, farmlands and factories pumping more weapons and resources for the war machine of Harken Tal. The new colony has been named Tempar Gal.

The Drui of Xervild have nearly all been massacred.

ON ACCULIS


The eclipse is weakening the chaos beasts.

Luud, Artacca and Waos

The war against beasts had been ongoing for generations, and finally it seemed victory was in sight for the Acculis. Trade routes were reopened with Waos, thanks to the heroic efforts of the Seldfellers of Luud and Artacca, and a brief period of plenty and peace sprung from this success.

But the Fiend of the Storm returned, furious that so many of its offspring had been killed by the Seldfellers. Weaker than in its prime, but still a cunning and fearsome beast, the Fiend destroyed several royal fleets. Several famous heroes died from these raids, among them being the loved Admiral Jain Jacco of Luud, and the legendary Seldfeller Io Oldar, who in his death managed the impossible feat of severing a horn from the Fiend of the Storm.

As another dark era was upon the Sluda of Acculis, the Acharya and the Kshatriya appeared to them, preaching Hope and Liberation. The warm words of the Acharya and Kshatriya brought the lost masses to the cult of Hope, and the skeptical rulers of the three kingdoms were forced to admit the legitimacy of these great beings when the Acharya pacified the Fiend of the Storm. The kindgom of Waos was eternally grateful to the Acharya, and by manipulating public opinion and the royals, the Acharya managed to turn the kingdom of Waos into a Theocracy of Hope.

Believing such providence to be too good to be true, the kingdoms of Luud and Artacca are wary of the Acharya and the Kshatriya. They have accepted to make the Cult of Hope a religion of the kingdom, but they watch over its spread with care. Meanwhile, the renewed trade has proven a great boon to the three kingdoms and an era of expeditions and discovery is likely to start soon.

All three kingdoms are prospering, and likely to search for new lands soon


Harken Tal Outpost

As they did in Xervild, the Harken Tal created a colony to exploit the resources of the Acculis mainland. But the Chaos Beasts were much more powerful and numerous than the Drui, causing subjugation operations to slow down. In time the outpost grew into a decent fortified colony named Calan Val. A military base were special forces are trained has been created due to the dangerous wildlife.

Calan Val has been founded, a fortified Nox colony. Special forces are trained there.



ON CHAOS LAND



The Allied States of Conacio

Decapitated at the start of the war, the nation of Conacio splintered into independent states united by their outrage against the Inesians. Pushed to their wit's end by the brutal assaults of the Inesians, the Allied States of Conacio pooled all their remaining resources into war, causing self-sustaining escalation.

Realizing quickly that they wouldn't win the war, the Allied States initially considered surrendering. But the arrival of the Harken Tal brought a light of hope for the Allied States, who would rather be conquered by the Nox than the Inesians whom they now hated. Still extremely weakened, they pressured the Inesians with incessant attacks, allowing the Nox of Harken Tal to gain ground on the Inesians.

Now as the war rages on, the Allied States are being devastated from behind by the rampaging Chaos Children, awakened by the war. Secret research are attempting to find a way to weaponize the Chaos Beasts.

The Allied States are still embroiled in the war.


The ruined country of Galfae

The Day of Violence and the devastating war had made the lives of the Spriggans and Dryads of Galfae a living hell. Galfae already had the weakest military might of all three main nations of Chaos Land, and no amount of courage in battle could best the superior weapons of Inesia. Then nearly fully conquered, Galfae ended up caught in the crossfire between Harken Tal and Inesia, causing them to become just another tuft of grass to crush on the battlefield.

Now most of the population had become fatalistic, not even expecting to live tomorrow. Some still held on to hope, dreaming of the promise of a Goddess long forgotten. Galfaean turned to religion for solace, praying for release from the war, for the end of their enemies and the restoration of Galfae to a great country.

Where most prayed, other formed resistance cells, using guerilla tactics and terror attacks to undermine the invaders. These Drayd and Spriggan freedom fighters came to be known as the Feltenwei, the Last Bastion of Freedom.

ON BITEY


The Nerith tribes

Blessed by Motion like Violence, the Nerith Tribes underwent a period of great growth. Developping into extremely warlike tribes, the Nerith grew as fearless killing machines. Due to the events of Chaos Land and the discovery of Nigredine, the Empire of Harken Tal slowed on the exploration of uncharted land, allowing the Nerith to keep growing undetected.

The Nerith tribes are still growing, vicious as ever


Harken Tal, the Empire of Worlds

The gift of Nigredine ushered a new golden age for the Nox of Harken Tal. This wondrous material with infinite properties allowed the Nox to surpass even the Chaosians of Conacio in several fields of study where no known material could possibly withstand the theories. But Nigredine was different.

The mastersmiths of Harken Tal called Nigredine the Metal of the Gods, and artifacts of Nigredine were unsurpassed in qualities, such that even the ancient masterworks paled in comparison. As a way to keep their glorified past as armoured warriors and combine it with the new technologies, the Nox used Chaosian technology to develop new weapons, culminating in the creation of the Noxian War Draconic Armours, shortened as Dracarms.

The Dracarms were gigantic armours of Nigredine and other alloys which Nox Warriors could enter and control as if it were their own body. Their name was inspired by the ancient Nox legend of the Nox Dragons, mythical warriors that could turn into gigantic beasts with scales harder than steel. The Noxian Sovereigns started seeing the Dracarms as the potential next step for the Nox. Forging perfect bodies for the Nox, and transferring the consciousness of the strongest within these unbreakable vessels.

It is no surprise that when the war broke out, Harken Tal was ready.

Furthermore, the Conac Chaos Landers stranded in Harken Tal were given honorary citizenship and their skills used to help the Empire defeat the Inesian and restore order to the world. Working with the Nox mastersmiths and masters of magic, more advanced and powerful weapons were developed at an incredible pace.

Harken Tal has become an Empire spanning worlds. Harken Tal is still the dominant civilization of Bitey. Harken Tal is likely the dominant civilization of the Mortal Plane. Harken Tal is a civilization of talented individuals.


The Imprisonned Watchmen

The Watchmen remained sealed, and experimented on to find the secret of their immortality. With the ongoing dual Eclipse, the Watchmen gathered power, patiently waiting for the day they would be free.


Whereabouts: The Radiant Leviathan

Meanwhile the Leviathan felt the Worldshark stirring, and retreated deeper inside to avoid being chomped by a Worldshark. There, the Radiant being fed on the Worldshark and grew bigger and bigger, undisturbed.


Whereabouts: Seeds of Change

The eclipse of Time and Balance and the dimming of the Wildflame was disastrous for the Seed of Change. Losing the nourrishing light of the Chaos star and instead being bathed in an abhorrent light of Time and Balance, their spread slowed and they became less resilient.



ON ELT


Whereabouts: Vital, Aspect of Nature

On the toxic world of Elt, the Aspect of Nature was sent to cleanse the tainted world and return it to its former glory. Working diligently, Vital absorbed all manner of waste and toxic material, slowly undoing the errors that led to the current state of Elt. Soon, the cleansed lands saw plants grow again thanks to the innate fertility of Elt.

In a completely different location, the Inesians first harvested samples of deadly toxins to replicate and use in the ongoing war. Then they were replaced by Harken Tals as they lost the Temple network, and study of the toxins of Elt continued to create deadlier weapons.

Vital is making great progress toward cleaning Elt. But a lot of work remains to be done. Vital is unlikely to be finished by the end of the next era.



OF DREAMS


The tragedies of war and the billions of dead caused the Subdomains of Thought to be riddled with nightmares and soon, many lost the ability to dream anything but nightmares. The subconscious use of the Law of Thought by the Chaosians caused them to share their nightmares, causing them to spread and cause madness and the loss of all happy thoughts in many Chaosians.

The Dryads and Spriggans of Galfae collectively dreamt of their Goddess, hoping their calls would be answered.

As the Nox used the Law of Thought through the Subjugation of the Self, their dreams of conquest and glory started overflowing, causing all Nox to believe in the greatness of the Empire of Harken Tal over all nations, as well as their fate to rule the nine worlds..



OF SOULS


With the war and the Law of Eternal Ascension, the souls of the dead gathered in colossal amounts in Chaos Land. Unable to open a Gate to the Astral Plane from their position, they gathered like steam in a pressured cooker. Attracted by the Origins and Elements consumed and generated by the engines fueling the war machines of Harken Tal and Inesia, the souls of the dead often briefly manifested when great amounts of power were generated.

The curious phenomenon led to a new theories about the nature of energy, some even hypothesizing that an explosion too powerful may theoretically be able to break through the veil separating the world of the living and the dead.



OF LIFE


With the Law of Arkai, the Element has started to take roots in all beings recognized by the Law. Apart from the mighty Worldsharks and greatest Chaos Beasts, all living beings are slowly incorporating Life within themselves.




PRESENCE CHANGES


The destruction of the Golden Sphere has caused Destiny to weaken in the Astral Planes!



The dual Eclipse of Time and Balance is affecting many Worlds!
Jigsaw is resisting to Time and Balance.
Multitude is turning to Time.
Bitey is turning to Balance. The spread of Nigredine by Harken Tal has caused Bitey to also turn to Control.
The spread of Radiance has been halted by the resurrection of Bitey.
The conversion of Xervild to Time has been halted by the actions of the Nox. Xervild is a world of Time and Creation

The Dreams of Hope of the Sluda are infecting Thought.

Name: The Forge
Origin/Element: Radiance/maybe *life*?
Class: Origin shard
Description: Designed to create entire continents on demand, The Forge is a massive roughly spherical machine the size of a mid sized moon. upon it's surface there exists a control panel, and at it's heart is a hole outside of existence.

Qualities:
- Creates continents, with a bit of work you can specify many things about these continents, such as their mineral content, rarity and shape of ore veins, general shape, biomes, and many other things. Using this it may be possible to make substances with properties impossible to achieve through mundane means.
- Automatically populates the continents it creates with a set of radiant creatures, which can be set by the user.
- By extracting the concept of existence from the membrane between existence and nonexistence, then enforcing the concept onto nonexistence, this device creates a material best described as existing nonexistence, a thing made of nothing.
- Left to its own devices the machine will begin randomly generating continents, steadily creating weirder and more anomalous worlds
- On the surface of the machine there are a number of wells that generate molten smart material, which can be extracted and programmed to assume whatever properties the user desires.

Then I turn it on and set it to make a basic rocky continent with a large number of ore veins and some middling wildlife for my celestial blades.
Action 2
I place a blessing on the surviving radiant servants in the corrupted domain of destiny for 3 power, blessing them with protection from destiny and the ability to breed. And then I bless the position of leader of the celestial blades for 1 power, a blessing of increased strength in combat and assistance in opening gates.
Action 3
With great anguish I rip off a part of my flesh, and present it to the leader of the Celestial blades, with instructions to make 3 blades from it, as strong as possible. (3 Ichor used to do this)
