Yeah! Loving all the aspects of it, and the original series got a bit boring, to be honest.

It's quite good, and has everything a SPAMKINGDOM should have.

It's okay, wouldn't mind seeing the original series updated again though.

The one thing I can think of is we tend to have morale problems / resistance when our army switches allies in the middle of a fight.

While your money and your men are now helping peoples of Peon in their fight, arming and training them, the people and noblemen of Kastoria are rather irked by your behavior. After all, Xane-Peon and the Regents have been nothing but amicable neighbours and friends for years.

Nobody has risen to try and overthrow your rule, but the populace is grumbling rather loudly.

Late Summer, 447 AEC

A messenger arrives urgently from Xane-Peon!

The rebellious General Matin has launched an offensive against the capital of Xane-Peon, and apparently he's been reinforced by some Peonian rebels whom he promised leniency and consideration for creation of an autonomous State that would be only nominally dependent from Xane.

"The Regents of the Little King Kemen, according to the defense pact with Kastoria, are asking for Kastorian ally to come help in this dark, if not darkest, hour in Xane-Peonian times, and strike down the rebels!"

A) "Sorry, my men are still patching their armors up from the last time."
B) "I cannot leave my kingdom unprotected. You shall have some militia and auxiliaries!"
C) "But of course! All troops I have ready shall be sent to protect the little King and the good Xane-Peonian Regents!"

What a tangle! We're supporting the Peons, but now the Peons are joining with Matin, who is pretty much our sworn enemy after the whole imprisoning his lover thing. We're going to give future graduate students plenty to write about, that's for sure.

Regardless of who wins between Peons and Regents, we must oppose Matin in full force because we only get lands the Peons end up with – I'm sure he's not planning to split it with us.

We have Kastorian uniforms, battle flags, and such to recognize our own units. Besides, I'm thinking that our troops and his aren't with the same group(s) of Peons. Even if there is a unified Peon leadership trying to play both sides – which is unconfirmed – they ought to have enough sense to keep rival armies apart from each other.

Our valiant troops could also march in and defend against the vile usurper, then turn around and honorably open the gates in vile treachery when the real peonian army arrives.

It would be cool if we could broker an alliance between the reagents and the Peonians against Matin.

Either way, this is quickly becoming medieval fantasy Syria.
