410 AEC, Midsummer
As you eat the dinner with your beloved second wife, suddenly you feel the vibrations of the ground. Then the walls rumble. Then the whole castle is shaking!
Earthquake!
As usual in this situation, most of the people go out onto the streets or courtyards, and same happens to you family and you.

There are few bruises when you and your wife tumble down on the floor due to all the shaking, but the worst comes from the broken leg of your little boy Kemen, who falls down the stairs. The healers take care of him quickly.

Rubble gets strewn across the yard and you see guards yelling as the quake tosses them off the walls and towers. Over the walls you hear the screams of the citizens of the capital, as well as intermittent, thunderous rumble of a collapsing building or two.
Then, as quickly as it came, the earthquake is gone. People sob, stable animals neigh and moo, and all is tranquil again.
410 AEC, The next day...
The Governor arrives at your study with a preeliminary report on damages to the capital.
"Your Majesty, the damage was terrible across all the districts, but it was the temples and houses of trade, the largest stone buildings besides the palace, that suffered the most. I've talked with owners and they all bemoan that repairing or rebuilding the lost buildings will drain their pockets of money. I suggest that the Crown donates money to the people of the capital to help with the reconstruction."
A) "Sorry, ain't got the money!"
B) "Sure, we can donate some money to help those in need."
C) "I will donate lots of money to show off my generosity and benevolence!"
