A fresh start in the ages past... good or bad?

Yeah! Loving all the aspects of it, and the original series got a bit boring, to be honest.
It's quite good, and has everything a SPAMKINGDOM should have.
It's okay, wouldn't mind seeing the original series updated again though.

Travelers from distant south bring news; the elderly Cornu IV of Maestrimar has died. His eldest son Jacobu, himself in 40s, became Jacobu II, King of Maestrimar.

Winter, 449 AEC

Winter time has come, and so did the gold from Kastorian mines.

Alongside gold arrived the rumor that Jacobu II, after merely three months of rule, has suffered a stroke that left him mute, paralyzed in the legs, and generally unable to rule. His only son, Ionu, is currently running affairs of the islander kingdom.

Meanwhile, a messenger from Xane-Peon has arrived! He has brought a sealed letter to you from the Council of Xane-Peon.

A) Throw the courier out!
B) Let's read the letter.

I'm scared that this might be a cursed letter due to the circumstances, but I presume that any curse within it won't just straight up kill our character and it's important to read messages from people we're so 'involved with' politically.
