Yeah! Loving all the aspects of it, and the original series got a bit boring, to be honest.

It's quite good, and has everything a SPAMKINGDOM should have.

It's okay, wouldn't mind seeing the original series updated again though.

Question to those voting A, Why send out our king when we can attack without risking losing our king?

It's to boost the morale and resolve of our soldiers.  If we lose the fight here to Duke Oro, Matin I will probably be killed anyway, and the entire dynasty will be overthrown.

Exactly. If we lose this battle we're dead anyway, so we may as well fight alongside our men. It'll boost morale, prove that we're willing to fight personally for our cause and make us seem like a strong king who leads by example if we win. On the other hand, we either die heroically or are executed. Remember our guy is lucky, seems like that would be useful in battle as well.

You decide not only to allow for the counterattack, but proclaim that you shall join it itself to strike down the rebel scum! The officers and nobles are impressed with your bravery.

The same noon, you mount the war horse prepared for you and lead the charge through the eastern gates!

The initial charge isn't very successful, and one could say it was a failure! The stakes planted by Oro's archers killed several horsemen up front (luckily, not you), and then the massed infantry and archers started dealing severe damage to your forces!

The charge turns into a static melee, and now your men are pushing, for the camp siegeing this side of the capital is obviously smaller than the whole garrisoned force that spilled onto the fields with you. The enemy tents are set on fire while their soldiers are being overwhelmed, if not by skill of your men, then simply by their numbers.

A) We still have the advantage! Press onto the next camp before Oro's forces regroups!
B) Okay, we did the thing, let's go back behind the walls!

The next camp you strike is well aware of your fighting and has prepared nasty traps and stocked their archers with arrows! Many of your men die before you realize that the battle is greatly against you!

What's even worse, you're isolated from your men and the orcs. That caused two men clad in Oro's cloaks to ride forth, their dueling maces held high! His sons? Grandsons maybe? Important knights or veteran officers??
