SHMA v2 (1): Failbird
Hail Improvement Package (1): Failbird
SHMA- Arc Model ():

I don't really like either of the Savior improvements, I feel like it would be better to make it not take up two slots on our Medic loadout, but as much as I believe that the v2 will potentially make it take up a third, I feel like the v2 is still better than the Arc at least, which seems to be trying to do a lot of things at once, several of which I could easily see being their own revisions.

No complaints on the Hail though.

Apollo Mobile Revive Point.

Taking our great work on the various Renderer designs & revisions, We instead focus on a Vehicle that carries a Revivification Chamber in itself.

The Apollo only carries the Revivification Chamber and Heavy Armor, making it fairly quick to points where it's needed. It also has a new nano-based material painted on during manufacturing. The Nanites transform the top layers of a hull into ablative plating. This helps against energy weapons, and to reduce the force from a sniper bullet or other heavy rounds before it hits the main armor against bullets. As well as against energy weapons.

The Apollo has no weapons to defend itself, as the design is meant to be fast to respond, and heavily protected and armored, so that on the battlefield it can do it's job.

And I somehow have to point out it's a Renderer Model.

Point the Second. The Teamster is also a thing. As is the fact we stuck a Revivification Chamber in the Osprey. Putting one in another model shouldn't even be difficult.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

A very expensive Osprey. A dedicated unit, however, will likely be E instead. And not like having two types of revive points is going to hurt us..

I voted for the Apollo because I want to beef up our respawn point fleet. However, the laser designator for the Hail is also excellent.

While our Hail artillery is great we can at most do indirect fire. The Hail would be more effective if our troops can direct a battery of fire into a specific point instead of all of the guns aiming in the general direction and hoping to hit.

I have to admit, I'm surprised no one asked me to remove the nanite fannypack.

Mostly cause it's somewhat sensible to have more on hand than what just the tool provides.

Core Fusion Reactor

A modern power source for a new millenium army, the Core Fusion Reactor is a compact, cold-fusion reactor that harvests the energy of cold-fused H3 via a radiation, heat, and EM harvesting nanite matrix that surrounds the reactor core. It can be hooked up to batteries of various sizes to charge them for later use, and the harvester nanites collapse in and stop the reaction should the reactor threaten cstastrophic failure.

Wasp Air Superiority Fighter

A VTOL fighter, the Wasp uses ElectroMagnetic Drives to drive itself based on the local planetary magnetic field. The drive is centered in the craft, and powered by a Core fusion reactor. The nature of the drive means that the Wasp can fly in any direction at any time, and the shape of the craft reflects, this, with a large rounded "Thorax" and a small rounded head where the pilot sits. The weapons are mounted on full-mobility weapon mount behind the Thorax so as to be able to point in any direction, and consist of two 40mm Autocannons. A third 40mm gun is mounted beneath the cockpit.

IVBM

The intervehicle ballistic missile is a simple, high payload missile guided by a combination of laser and camera systems. Carrying 10 KG of shaped high explosive, the chemical boosters of the rocket are designed to boost the projectile to 100 KPH wihin 0.5 seconds of launch, and it only gets faster from there. Side thrusters and multiple sets of fins aid in manouvering and stability in flight. The explosive does not arm, and cannot explode,  until it has travelled at least 10 meters.

Prewar 3 Revision Phase

Proposal: Savior Heavy Medical Applicator v2
Difficulty: Normal
Result: (3+1)=4, Poor

By adding a dedicated nanite generating system mounted on the Medic's lower back they are able to utilize the Savior more readily and efficiently. While it still takes ten to fifteen seconds to bring someone back from the brink of death and additional targets increase that time, there are enough nanites being generated that the Savior can be used without needing to stop and recharge. Currently we warn against any practice of "overclocking", as the hoses connecting the Savior to the nanite pack are susceptible to damage and increased stresses can only worsen that. The SHMA v2 sees some increase in effectiveness, however the unreliability of the fixes leaves deployment at (VERY EXPENSIVE).

Proposal: Hail Improvement Package
Difficulty: Easy
Result: (3+1)+1=5, Below Average

The easiest portion of this upgrade was adding a ready rack with eight shells on the artillery carriage. Past that we also worked on recoil dampening and compensation, improving the Hail's accuracy during rapidfire bombardment. A monitor was added to the Hail fire controls which acted as a firing map, marking locations on a top-down gridded map based on infantry-deployed laser designators. Unfortunately this portion of the improvement package fell short - the receiving system doesn't always translates the location of the laser's target accurately, so targets are currently verbally confirmed before bombardment regardless.

Improvements to the Hail show promise as deployment level for the Hail artillery piece becomes (EXPENSIVE). This means the Thunderer is now also functionally (EXPENSIVE).

----------------

It is now the Design Phase. You have one free design for whatever you wish and one auxiliary equipment design that will receive a research credit. As we approach the final two prewar turns remember that you will need to define class loadouts for each of your separate classes consisting of a Primary and Secondary Weapon, some form of their Class-defining equipment, and up to three Auxiliary Equipment. The number of each class you deploy will be largely based on the expense levels of their equipment.
