Definitely putting in a vote for the Saviour, though I don't actually know what to choose for the second option. The tank, RPG, and armor would all be important in their own ways.

Nyeh, I've been convinced to vote Tank.

I have some concerns about the weapon. 12RPM seems a little low, and if this is meant to be a skirmisher, high-accuracy and long range seems like an odd choice. Unless this is meant to act like a sniper?

Yes. The first design is all about hit and run tactics, while staying out of harms way. As with our Renderer, we can make multiple variations with different loadouts.

Just to note elvish miner, one of those two votes is invalid; one of the designs we make this turn has to be class-defining equipment, and neither the tank or the RPG are such.

I split the designs into two categories to make it clearer. I think I divided them correctly.
Anyway, I still prefer the SPADE, although there's nothing wrong with the Saviour.
A tank is a tank is a tank, and tanks are always useful.

Ahh, yes, the TRPG is a secondary, my bad. Vote changed to the Savior.

Insider Combat Shotgun

A modified version of the Overseer Battle Rifle, the Insider is a smoothbore 20mm semiahtomatic shotgun designed for use with armor-piercing flechette rounds.

Prewar 3 Design Phase

Proposal: Destroyer Main Battle Tank
Difficulty: Normal
Result: (5+2)+0=7, Average

The Destroyer MBT functions effectively in regard to it's role. With a top speed of 60km/h it provides a stable base for it's 125mm cannon capable of firing at 10RPM. The turret also holds a (relatively) slow firing remote-controlled 12.7mm machine gun. 150mm armor protects the front, with 120mm on the sides and 105mm at the rear. Extra protection is provided in the form of bricks of Explosive Reactive Armor on the front and sides of the turret and over the more vital components of the tank. It's a perfectly capable tank that doesn't really stand out in any way either. It's considered (EXPENSIVE) based largely on it's absolutely reliable averageness.

Proposal: Savior Heavy Medical Applicator
Difficulty: Hard
Results: (2+2)-1=3 (4+1)-1=4, Poor

The Savior is a bulky piece of equipment meant to heal multiple friendlies simultaneously. While a full uninterrupted 10-second nanite discharge is enough to patch most near-lethal wounds, adding additional targets via the Savior's targeting monitor divides the available nanites evenly. The Savior needs a 30-second recharge before being used again. Thanks to it's notable bulk the Savior also takes up the Primary Weapon slot of a Loadout.

The Savior Heavy Medical Applicator shows some promise, but not many people are willing to give up their primary weapon for something so...unrefined, making it (VERY EXPENSIVE). It is considered Class-Defining Equipment for Combat Medics.

Not bad, but you can always do better. And it's now the Revision Phase, where you can do such a thing as "improvements". You have Two(2) Revisions to discuss this turn.

Maybe we should spend this phase trying to fix up the medical applicator?

Savior Heavy Medical Applicator v2
The answer to such poor performance from the Savior is simple: we need more nanites, and we need to send them out faster. If one medic can do the job of multiple, allowing those soldiers to utilyze a different class, then the loss of a primary weapon is negligible.

Adding additional nanite generators to a pack that sits above the medic's buttocks, and attaching them via hoses to the gun allows more nanites to be pumped out. An upgraded nozzle allows a higher rate of nanite flow to all recipents, while shutting the flow off to those who are at peak health. Finally, the cooling system has been completely revamped: there is no fear of overheating, allowing constant nanite flow, and the gun can be 'overclocked' using the Extra Cooling Cartriges.

Hail Improvement Package:

Intended to ensure a greater quantity of Hails deployed, this improvement package includes an ammo cache on the carriage to enable speedy resupply from a nearby ammo fabricator, a recoil absorption system to ensure the gun is able to stay on target during sustained and creeping barrages, and a laser designator to enable our troops to spot for our artillery on the front lines, to give them easy access to fire support.

Refinement: Savior Heavy Medical Applicator- Arc Model

We didn't do so well with it, so we still need to fix it. The Arc Model can discharge it's healing effect over an area with the same effectiveness no matter how many targets there are. It also heals the user as well. Finally, it has a singular setting that can serve as an effective last minute attack at close to short range to kill anyone it strikes by over-healing, causing death from the breakdown of rapidly multiplying tissues. Don't ever mess with the Medic, is the lesson learned. If they can heal you, they can kill you just as easily.
