As Marta and her pegasus swandive to the ground, the party realises something.
Serena is swiftly storming forwards. The aura around her is....imposing. Somewhat like Freya's, but different; the air smells as if a rainstorm is about to follow, and rather than being suffocating, imposing it seems almost....comforting?
"No. No more."
"You've hurt enough people." "If I have to unleash everything I have....then I will." "You....wretched failure! You won't stand up against me! You can't! Your place is below me!"Freya's mouth opens wide, motes of light gathering within it as Serena approaches Freya. Yet Serena approaches her fearlessly. The courage in her expression is palpable; it's the most spine she's shown in so long.
Possibly for the first time ever, Serena Thalassa Nereida is no child, but a Goddess Dragon.
"I'll burn you away! Serena!"The light gathers into a massive orb within Freya's mouth. With a mighty roar, the Goddess Dragon of Love and Peace unleashes a violent, pulsing wave of light, utterly engulfing Serena. A massive column of light engulfs her, knocking away all the rest of Team F, blasting the ceiling open with the sheer force as Serena is engulfed.
"...."Serena's silhouette seems to be blown away by the force of Freya's spell, crumbling to dust.
Rhea's voice rings out within the chamber, her barrier faltering as she witnesses Serena disappear.
"Serena!"The light fades, as smoke and dust fill the room where Serena was a moment before.
For a moment, silence fills the room.
"I knew it. I knew it! Haha, at last....Serena shall-"[Now Playing: Theme of Serena ~Blue Dragon~]The rain begins to fall, as Dani, Marta and the other wounded covered in the rain feel their wounds close, their pains disappear.
A massive, green serpent bursts from the smoke, golden armor snaking around their heads, azure gems shining with power. Their scales shimmer and glisten, as if having ascended from the water. Pink fins cover the back of their head.
Serena dances in the air, her draconic form resembling that of a sea serpent.
"Did you think you could make me disappear so easily, like you pushed me out of our mother's notice for so long, Freya?"The smug air surrounding Freya visibly fades.
"I'm supposed....to be stronger...." "I found my strength. I won't let you take it away. Nor will you take it from anyone else. Deluge."A massive wall of water forms beneath Serena, separating Team F from Freya, swirling and spinning, before smashing directly into Freya and swallowing her entire body.
