The blobs, for how soft they are to the touch, prove to be nigh-immovable even for Keith. His foot can barely slide into the gap between two of them without being softly bounced back out.

"C'mon dude. What's so important back there?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

The blobs murmur and babble among each other, before looking back at Keith.
"is secret, yis"
"blobbo friend asked nicely and gibed food, yis, we helpful blobbos"
"Wait....you know Sir Blobbington? F-from before?"
"yis"

"So, he just wanted to go to his friends. Nothing to worry about, I think."

"Take care of our friend then... meanwhile, who wants some headpats?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Keith thought for a second.

"Hold up. I know you guys made a promise, but I don't think even a mountain of blobs can stop me. Sorry little dudes, I'm going after Blobbington."

He dashed forward, willing his body immaterial as he reached the wall of yellow. After all, if he could pass through people and demons, then blobs shouldn't offer any resistance either...

"Hey, Keith, wait-"
"wao rood"

Keith passes effortlessly though the wall of yellow blobs. Small squeaks of "ahn", "wao" and "rood" can be heard as he passes through, until he finds himself, behind the wall of blobs, in a dark passageway lit with only small, blob-shaped lanterns, leading far off into the distance.

"I do wonder if we can MPMPH our hands on a tourist map of this place."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Keith felt a bit nervous to be proceeding entirely on his lonesome - he'd been with the party for so long that he just wasn't used to being alone anymore.

"Man up, dude. Just a quick recon. Besides, you're a vampire. Apex predator. Let's do this."

After collecting himself, he started running down the hallway.

"Sir Blobbington? Come on dude! It's Keith! Let's get back to everyone, huh?"

After what seems like an eternity, Keith finally makes his way down the dimly lit corridor into a large chamber, with seven pedestals arranged around a single, larger pedestal in the middle.  The chamber is well lit from a skylight, the afternoon sun shining down into the chamber.

On the larger pedestal sits Sir Blobbington, staring at the surrounding pedestals. As Keith approaches, he notices some food sitting on the pedestals.
"wao"
Rhea raises her hand at Jarvis.
"I could be your guide. I am....familiar with the environs. Though, of course.....we'd need to wait for your friend, no?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Look at that. Are you some kind of king here, Sir Blobbington? You got your own room with a high perch and food and everything."

Keith approached and picked up a cookie from the various foodstuffs.

"Here ya go dude. What are you doing here, anyway?"

He put the cookie in front of Blobbington.

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Yes, MPMH going to wait for them. Was just pondering MPMH what we would be needing to explore this place properly."
"But if you are willing to guide MPMH around, then I guess there's no need for MPHH I was planning to get."

"am look around, yis, am not rember what is place, but am feel familiar"
As Keith offers the cookie to Sir Blobbington, he suddenly finds the cookie yanked from his hand by an invisible force back to the pedestal he found it.

The pedestals, as Keith has a closer look, have the national dishes of all of the countries of Generia on them; Penultian Loach Paella, Nishimiya Ramen, Blobbonia Pound Cake (and a bunch of cookies and other sweets) and such like. The pedestals corresponding to Midgardia, Wybernia, Bastapa and Begnin are empty.

"Well, this is a stupid idea, but what if you're a Demon General yourself?"

Keith looked at the pedestals.

"The ones of all the countries we've defeated or made peace with the Generals in are empty. It kinda feels like this is significant. Some sort of... progress marker."

Indeed, you remember that the convoy is holding the national dishes of each region you have already visited. Probably in Milly's wagon, in one of her enchanted storage areas where food is kept cool and not rotting, even.

"Oh yeah dude, that's a good idea. You wait right here."

Keith patted Sir Blobbington and went back outside where Milly, Momo, and Yliss were waiting.

"Hey dudes. There's an altar in there with food from each country on it. Let's go grab the regional specialties we got and put 'em there, see what happens."
