Bug Catcher Dan can challenge Gentleman Jacques, or he can encourage some new person to join the league for him to challenge. Currently he's waiting to be the recipient of a grudge match.

Marochu doesn't believe in ghosts. Ghosts sound like things that can't be hit with a club. But his current opponent can. Oh boy, it can. Bone Club against Genfable face, repeatedly, a drum of war. Quite a catchy beat, if I may say so. The referee seems to agree, judging by how her toes are tapping. Still, maybe it's time to call this off. Marochu, finish 'em off with an Earthquake!

But Genfable floats gentle above the ground as the earthquake rages beneath and the shadowball engulfs Marochu. It was a close one!

Accept Dan's challenge. Re-fuse Marochu into Dowak. Bet 58$ on myself.


Doing the math, the odds are 19.5/36 for me and 16.5/36 for Dan. There's a good chance RGU gets a complete clean sweep, but if he doesn't, I think I'm a favourite for second place with my vast army of fans.

Dowak will attack with Flying:
Using his flappy non-wings, Dowak somehow uses Fly to avoid his opponent's attack and then swoops in for a Drill Peck utilizing a rapidly-spun bone. Then...

...if Dowak is going to win the bout, he reveals that his trainer got his hands on an interesting TM: Sky Attack. Dowak glows for a moment before unleashing the full fury of a legendary bird, channeled through his trusty club.

...if Dowak is going to lose the bout, he falls back on the Rage strategy that worked against Oddtwo, but his opponent is wise enough to finish him in one massive blow instead of slow chips.

Oddtwo looks momentarily confused, since it doesn't have any leaves and isn't sure how to go about sprouting some, but eventually it tries opening its mouth and, more or less to the surprise of everyone involved, Mew-shaped leaves fly out and slice into Alaking!

Oddtwo looks momentarily confused, since it doesn't have any leaves and isn't sure how to go about sprouting some, but eventually it tries opening its mouth and, more or less to the surprise of everyone involved, Mew-shaped leaves fly out and slice into Alaking!

"Yeah! I totally knew that would work and definitely wasn't winging it!", lies Leo through his teeth.

Oddtwo's Grass vs Poison-Ground: 2 (x2 ground weakness) (x.5 poison strength) = 2 (-2 evolved defence) = 0
Alaking's Psychic vs Psychic: 3 (x.5 psychic strength) = 1 (+2 evolved attack) = 3

The leaves batter into Alaking, but the great beast holds steady. Despite Oddtwo's great resistance, Alaking's superior evolved psychic waves overcome the less fusion and Oddtwo is defeated!
