Artificial Intelligence" has the added benefit of giving some researchers an excellent excuse to make the case for it.
"This new technology is helping us to create a better understanding of how our bodies work," says Robert Langer at Oregon State University, one of the world's leading experts on organ transplants. "One of the challenges is how we can really get to work this technology right and get that organ going again."
The goal of the team is to use artificial intelligence to create a personalized medicine that can help patients live longer and better lives. The team has already applied their work to people with advanced cancer – including Parkinson's patients – and had hoped to one day build such an artificial intelligence system that would help improve the treatment of that condition. In addition to Langer, who is also a professor of biomedical engineering and applied mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, and at Cornell University, others on the team of researchers includes Daniela Aarons from Ohio State University, which is using artificial intelligence to develop a brain-like medical device, and David Oller of the University of Washington, who is the director of research with the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Human Creativity.
But their vision is only just about getting there. To make it work, patients are required to have just one liver being used by the patient. Some researchers have suggested that by using one
This makes sense, actually though it is an AI talking about AI, it would no doubt know what it’s talking about
To avoid double posting I’m adding another one here. This is what talk to transformer says about Donald Trump
Donald Trump's new attorney general may have taken her cues, and she is making them known.
Earlier this month, Trump issued subpoenas targeting Fox News executives and Fox contributor Roger Ailes, who was ousted by Trump earlier this month.
Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing with regards to Ailes' hiring and firing — and was in fact on board with Ailes getting the job because he could get Fox into a better spot, according to The Washington Post.
"My people have been told that as you may know, in the past week, this special counsel has been investigating whether there is any illegal action by his predecessors in this department," Trump said in a late-July interview on Fox News, "when there's nothing on a criminal case, if I'm president of the United States, I guess, that would be very, very strange. But this looks like it," he said, referencing his Justice Department investigation into allegations of potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2012 Senate election.
When Fox News announced Wednesday that it would no longer cover Trump's Miss Universe pageant, which Trump hosted with a group of wealthy Russian oligarchs, White House officials rushed to defend him and defend his dismissal, claiming it was the result of a smear campaign by Democrats and a Democratic-controlled Congress, the Wall Street Journal reports.
