Magma in cages.
It's an easy enough trick, really: Take the same container and turn it into a bath.
If you're a true master, you may even be able to turn a simple rock into a magma chamber – but that requires a bit of creativity, patience and perhaps a little luck.
As the image above shows, just a little bit of rock can be turned into a magma chamber if the rock is placed on top of a piece of ice or a rock-solid block of ice.
Just make sure it's not solid ice. It doesn't need to be completely solid – just make sure that when you place it on top of something, it doesn't completely melt.
As with a fire, this is a good way to make a small area warm and to make it more survivable when the sun goes down.

Also, remember that when you use lava as a source of heat, you actually don't burn it! The lava will merely heat up the environment around it, giving it the appearance of burning.

Also, remember that when you use lava as a source of heat, you get a little extra heat that you don't get with a regular stone furnace. It's kind of cool.
I also recommend putting an obsidian floor under your lava. I haven't tried it yet, but if you make a solid obsidian floor, you can store the lava inside the floor with a little heat.
In the image below, I've put a lava-storage tank under my floor, and a stone furnace in the lava, but the floor is left untouched. I think that will give me a little extra space for lava.
Also, if you're having trouble with lava (or if you just like the way it looks), you can use a bucket or something to catch the lava. I've never tried this, but you could try using a large wooden bucket for a lava bucket, or maybe a regular water bucket. I don't know much about buckets.

And finally, you may not want to use lava as your boss. You will burn the world.
But that's fine. Just don't use it to kill a boss. You'll melt your hand or something.
3. Use some lava to do some damage.
Just like the other lava, lava can also be used to do damage, which is why I don't use it to kill enemies. But there are a few uses for it. The most common of these is as an attack or a stun.
In fact, in the first game, the lava that you encounter in the first level has the power to stun you (but not to kill you). In a lot of other games, lava stuns you.
Also, as I mentioned in point 1, lava can also be used to kill enemies, but I don't think you will ever find someone who has used lava to kill them.

The biggest problem is the fact that lava can be very dangerous, and can cause some people to lose their fingers. The lava can also break a lot of rocks, and as you can imagine this is not very nice to watch.
This is why I was very happy to see that they have added a way to melt ice and snow. The new features that they have added include new ways of melting ice and snow and some of them can even melt lava. This is very nice for both people and for the environment as a whole. This new feature is called the Ice/Snow Melt System, and is really nice, and can be seen in action in the video below:

It's a good idea to use your lava to build stairs to your top-most room. These allow your player to climb into and out of the deepest rooms easily and quickly. However, they're very easy to get stuck in, and you'll want to build walls in between them and your lava, so enemies cannot climb up and attack the walls.
If you can't find any lava, you can use the lava from your current room to fill the empty space that the floor had before you filled it with lava.

The only time you should not use lava is if you have no other option. That's because the only way to remove lava is by killing it. But since you can use lava at almost any time, this is a common mistake. The reason is that lava is very easy to come by, especially if you don't have a lava lamp. You can create lava from water, and you can build it on the water. And you can't remove it from the water, since it's not solid. So, you can't safely remove lava from your lava lamp.
