Crane Engineering Vehicle
An early effort to improve manufacturing capacity, the Crane is a mobile construction unit meant to patch over immediate issues with expanding the Watchers' capacity to project force and lay the foundation for future improvements to manufacturing methods.

An excellent improvement, the crane engineering vehicle manages to improve the rollout of supplies quite significantly, as well as giving carriers a mobile option for deploying supply outposts and fortifications. This craft also shows promise with loading and unloading type 1 missiles, though that is a very small part of its role, and fits in with the rest of its benefits.+1 to supply limit in most zones, +2 to supply limit in zones where you have deployed carriers. Scalpel Sniper Upgrade: Upgrade the Sniper Staff to a sniper rifle for superior performance, using the same minimalist style as the Ljutic Space Gun so as to facilitate it retaining close combat capabilities.

Though a difficult project, we have managed to create an effective new model capable of holding four zero class missiles on its racks. 6 if we ditch the light guns. However, there are, as you might expect with the number of missiles they can load, these new models are slower until they fire off their missiles, and also need to return to a base and refill their ammo quite frequently. Oh, and the jets can't be turned back into batons unless their racks are empty of missiles. The bomber variant is a relatively easy modification, and can be made from normal jet batons in the field.

As thermobaric weapons are good at killing everything inside large chunks of tunnel networks, as well as apparently being used in AShMs. Further, this is better at removing large hordes above ground as well.
Although maybe it should be simply thermobaric warheads for all current missile weapons... Eh.

Based on the weapons of our light jets, we have created an infantry portable light gun. A relatively light one at that. The Scythe-SHAW is able to be used in conjunction with shields, at the same time to be exact, thanks to the fact that only one arm is needed to shoot the thing from the hip, as we managed to pack most of the stuff into the backpack. The two fire modes come out... interestingly. The basic firing mode is roughly analogous to our light jet's guns, able to tear through light cycles and infantry, but struggles against heavier targets. The shotgun mode fires at about the same rate by default, but doesn't do much damage, to infantry or vehicles, it does knock stuff back though, filling the area in front of the autocannon with small light bolts. Excellent mode for crowd control, pushing back large groups and holding them there, and crowd murder with sustained fire from multiple scythes. The backpack can hold about... 100 rounds worth of fire before needing a recharge, though a plug on the back lets it be hooked into a base's energy reserves via a pipe. it does have a few issues, mainly that its reaallly hard to aim when using both a shield and a scythe, and also that its too awkward to be used while riding a light crawler. Its expense comes out to being Mildly expensive though the equipment is Persistent and has relatively high energy consumption (borderline energy intensive, works less well farther from your lines)

Our new warheads are... Potent. Able to clear out large areas in a single hit, and with bunker buster properties (They can blow through rooftops and stuff to get deeper into a structure before going off), these are potent weapons of war. They're largely useless against armored targets though. We're able to make them at the same rate and with the same restrictions of Type 1 missiles, and are Mildly Expensive for use on type zeros. We've also gained new insight into how to make fire based weapons work, granting us a +1 credit on fire based weapons systems.
