vein and gem records.

In my Dwarf Fortress Exploits, I've found that I need to dig up veins.
The veins are listed once in the logs, then never again?

I'm looking for something to note down all the veins/gems, and if they are dry.

Possibly a UI element, notes extension, or archivist profession.
