As the subject of the rest of the team came up, Shaelynn stepped away to examine the staves on offer somewhat more closely. "Hm... Standard staves of healing, as well as anti-poison, more powerful variants of healing, a counter for attacks upon the mind, anti-magic, magic sealing..." Shaelynn puzzled over the Quickness staff. "Staffmaker, what effect does this rod produce? I am not familiar."

Simona kinda winced, realizing the misstep a bit too late - but pressing on.

"Well... hopefully we can work well together. I'm sure it'll be fine. What about the captain?"

After the group had finished their purchases Altha brought them to the tomes shop. She immediately began looking through the shelves scrutinizingly.

Siegfried purchases Elwind, Worm, Axereaver, and Steel Pilum, giving them to Altha, Brun, Niels, and himself respectively (don't ask how he got them to the girls)

"I have my reasons. A practical use of my abilities is one of them." She said, looking away slightly, with an annoyed expression on her face.

After buying their equipment and supplies, and having found only 4 out of 11 shops available in the capital, the group moved on to gather when the Captain Astleich asked them to earlier.

He was already there, patiently waiting.

"Ah, you're here. I assume you're ready to move out?"

As they returned from the stores, Altha dug the curious book she had found and held it out to Sieg.

"The woman in the catacombs had this with her. I spent a good deal of time examining it last night and found nothing of interest, it is merely a combat manual. I assume that such a thing might be found more useful to others in the squad other than me, so distribute it as you see fit. Or perhaps even use it as a peace offering in that matter of yours. It doesn't matter to me."
