Yes I agree. Thats why I've asked earlier, if I can put them in myself.

But my skills are lacking, and i trust you more with the technical part   ;)

Hmm, it seems that all [UPPERBODY]s have to be destroyed to kill something.  Guess I'll have to find another way of making my critical parts fatal if destroyed.

Maybe replace the nobreathe with aquatic(so it can still function underwater) and make the reactor core a lung? EDIT: Might be amphibious instead. I don't remember exactly what the tag is.

That way it should eventually die after the core is destroyed.  You could say it has a good old fashioned Duralast installed or something.   Shame it won't blow up when the core is breached but thats probably impossible anyway.

Alfador

Three-tailed magical fox. (Use body similar to fox, but with two additional tails, and hands.)

Larger than normal fox--same size as dwarf.
Bite, claw, magical attack (simulated with fire-throwing)
Resistant to fire and cold (if possible)
Pretty speedy
Bright Red 'F' for tile
Intelligent, can learn, etc. as if a civilized entity
Can equip equipment, learn to swim, etc. as if a humanoid
Prefstrings: 'magical abilities' 'silky fur' 'vibrant tails'

Logged
This is a fox skull helmet. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It menaces with spikes of fox bone and is encircled with bands of fox leather. This item is haunted by the ghost of Alfador Angrorung the fox.

Since we're massacring elves and not fighting each other, go ahead and enter both.

Awesome! I enter both Kitten Still v3 and Slime Monster v2! Be sure to put the Slime Monster's body in the right place too!

(PS I will not be responsible if said Slime Monster dies for an unknown reason or continually falls over.)

Xotes:

COLOR needs to be 2:0:1 if you want pure green.
X:Y:Z- not to be confused with R:G:B
X = letter color: 0 = black / 1 = blue / 2 = green / 3 = cyan / 4 = red / 5 = magenta / 6 = brown / 7 = light grey.
Y = background color: same as above
Z = letter brightness: 0 = dark 1 = bright / background is always dark.

ATTACK is rather powerful, though its been said that we arent fighting eachother yet so it doesnt matter. When we do fight eachother it will need to be more balanced.

SPEED is insane. 1 means XOTES be able to run at the DF speed of light. (or is that 0?) 900 is the default speed. 810 is agile. 720 is very agile. Look here: http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/Speed

Plus it attacks that fast too so it will get about 100 attacks in while the other beast gets only 1 attack in.

Ah, thanks. Modifying as I type.

Alright, 'ere he is, nice and a bit more balanced. His speed's to make up for his relative lack of power elsewhere. He's basically a thiefsy guy, meant to go around your fortress relatively unnoticed.

FYI: Along with assorted elves, arena fighters will also be facing the most terrifying and imaginative creatures that my mind could concieve.

The secret opponent is...

DEMON CHICKENS!
