For the glory of Deutchia! Let's show those vodka-loving Russolanders what we've got! Thankfully, we start off with quite a number of hand-picked gear and we can even design what we're missing ourselves!

Infantry EquipmentMain Infantry Weapon - The Juraki
Type 0 Rei sniper rifle. If they can't see us, they can't shoot at us! Best of all, it's portable! Otherwise, we could get the
Carrera 'Vera' Series 1 Model 2 Self Loading Light Battle Rifle from the Nafuni Imperial forces. I heard they were selling them extra cheap.
Sidearm - I'm voting for the
Type 4 Magistrate Pistol with a pin removed. Truly, with such a fast-firing barrel-melting (1200 RPM) pistol, our infantry will shine on the battlefield.
Machine Gun - I think we are better off designing our own machine gun. What exists doesn't seem to fit our needs quite as well as what we could do ourselves.
Grenade - Type 19 Mortar shell with propellant replaced with more explosive mass - while the Juraki might've put the propellant out of the mortar to increase range, the added room can be used to add more explosives, making for a more deadly weapon. Doubles as an AT grenade.
Melee Weapon - The expensive katana of the Juraki shogunate - but made from a manganese-steel-tungsten-chrome alloy to maintain excellent performance.
Motorized:Light Artillery - The Nafuni Tauret 6'' Cannon. It technically shoots. (

Infantry Transport Truck - Privateer 1 1/2 Ton Truck. We'll save resources on the seats, and it can double as transport for resources!
Light Tank - Kadesh Armored Mechanical Chariot (AMC-02V8), from Ameliorate Arms Race. Fitted with a 65 hp engine, 10 mm of armor all over, travelling at a maximum speed of around 50 km/h, and possessing a belt fed 41 mm autocannon in a cylindrical, hand-cranked turret - it is a force to be reckoned with!
AirforceFighter-bomber - The
A-1 Multi-Purpose Aircraft "Barnacle" has no contender in this area. A 10-cyl engine guarantees we can carry at least 2x 200 lb bombs, and it only overheats some of the time. It might be long, skinny and slow, but it's maneuverable as heck so I doubt they'll be able to shoot it down.
NavySmall ship - None other than the
Asennu-class Shunefu, designed in 1891. Equipped with 26 guns - with a 12 6-pounder broadside - the craft is a force to be reckoned with and won the Nafuni Navy several years worth of victories in their own conflict.
Type 0 Rei: [Stealth] The Rei is a very precisely crafted rifle. It has a long barrel, and is a single-shot bolt action like the Type 1. Since the Juraki lack lenscrafting facilities, it has a simple wire sight for fine targeting. The unique feature, though, is that the barrel screws into place, and when disassembled, the gun fits into an inconspicuous business suitcase.
Type 39 Fragmentation Grenade: This is a Type 19 Mortar shell without any propellant, and a five second fuze started by pulling a pin. The pin can be pulled by hand or arranged into a trip with a length of wire included. In practice the fuze lasts anywhere from 4 to 6 seconds.
Type 4 Magistrate Pistol: This is a blowback-operated automatic pistol, firing new 10x25mm centerfire pistol cartridges. It is loaded from a 10 round single stack magazine. It has decent accuracy and stopping power at short to medium range, and usually cycles reliably, provided it is clean, dry, and cool. It is configured to fire as a semi-automatic weapon, though it can fire fully automatic with a pin removed. In this case, it fires about 1200 rounds per minute, with nothing to retard the fire, which is experienced to a shooter as the gun dumping its entire magazine and jumping out of their hands at a single trigger pull. This is fine, it was never meant to be fully automatic, except sometimes this pin cracks and it happens by accident.
Tauret 6'' Cannon: Erm... Well to start with good news, we fixed the tubing so it wont explode or simply not work when the gun fires, however we where unable to get the ammo to fit. We where really close with one shell, but unlike the other jams, it actually blew the gun's barrel off. So for now we are stuck with a gun that jams almost every shot instead of a gun that jams every shot and has to be pushed back into position because the recoil didn't work. Regardless, we a certain without a doubt that we will be able to finish this by next year, dead certain. There is also talk of some kind of curse befalling this project, but such a thought was dismissed as nonsense seeing how we made some, although not much, progress. That, and no one has died....yet.
Privateer 1 1/2 Ton Truck: This is a truck, with a straight three-cylinder petrol motor. Like many early cars, the engine sticks in front of the cab in a compartment narrower than the rest of the vehicle, with a water-filled radiator in front. It has a short square cabin with a windscreen and open sides, and a bench seat for a driver (on the left) and a passenger, or two skinny passengers. The back of the truck is an eight by six foot bed with cleats to rope down cargo. It sits on six tall, narrow wheels with solid rubber tires and leaf spring suspension, the front two steer. The cabin has a only a steering wheel, throttle pedal, hand clutch and brake levers (which can lock open or closed) and forward/reverse selector. It isn't fast even on a good day, but when at its advertised load of 1.5 tons it can outrun (or outwalk) a team of half a dozen horses. It can carry two tons, in fact, if the road isn't too steep. It provides 2 resource points, or whatever I called them, replacing the horse and cart. On or near the battlefield, it can be made to carry whatever fits in its bed or can be towed behind on wheels, including cannons. [2 Ore, 2 Oil]
Asennu-class Shunefu: The Asennu-class Shunefu is best described as a very large ship by our standards, and is the first new ship we have made in a long time. It has three masts, all with sails, and it is armed with 26 guns, able to shoot port, starboard, and astern. The ship is fast in the wind, however, going against wind, as one would expect, its fairly slow, and its slower then the Water wolf ships our enemy uses, however, it has 26 more cannons then the water wolf, so that balances things out. The ship also has quite a large crew, compared to our other ships, and it makes the most of its size. A cargo version also exists, which is much much better then our current transport ships, and it can carry a little bit more. Despite all of this however, its new and quite large design, leaves shipwright's looking at the designs after every addition, and as such, it is Complex. It costs 3 ore, 2 wood making it Very expensive this turn, due to the Transport losses last turn.
A-1 Multi Purpose Aircraft "Barnacle": The first Cannalan aircraft, the Barnacle is a long, large biplane which seats a pilot and gunner/radio operator. It is powered by a 10 cylinder inline engine, which gives the plane a very long, skinny nose. Behind it is the pilot's seat, with the gunner's seat behind that, and a conventional tail. Two large pairs of wings give the craft a low stall speed, suitable for the engine which has a so-so power output for its weight, but very limited ability to aggressively climb, dive and bank. The pilot operates two front facing air cooled, belt fed Muerte machine guns, which have a synchronization gear and fire through the propeller. A planned Can Shredder was canceled due to synchro gear problems, which were bad normally and doubly bad when it was situated towards the rear of the plane to give the gunner access to the magazines. The gunner has another air cooled Muerte on a swivel. It has a sturdy airframe which is made from wood with metal at critical joints, and a 1/32 inch thick steel skin. It can carry one torpedo (about 400 pounds) OR a two way radio with relative ease thanks to its high lift wings. It lands on two large fixed wheels and a tiny tail wheel. Requires long runway.
