Bio: A surprisingly competent mage with chuuni tendencies. Dan was born in Midgardia as the sole daughter of two retired adventurer, growing up with a head full of dreams and childhood adventures, Dan felt drawn to the profession, or at least to reading about it.
Blessed with a talent for the magical arts, Dan was mostly content with letting it lay fallow, only ever going so far as learning the odd cantrip or two to dazzle and impress her fellow adventurers. She was inspired to take up the art seriously after she read a Kaisei written light novel about the adventures of a Generian named Artur, who after being struck to death by a white unmarked knight, found himself reincarnated into the great and mysterious land of Breton, emerging from a hidden tomb in the mountains during troubled, fractious times. The story of a Generian adventurer shaping his own future despite the expectations of others with his wits, and imaginative uses of his magical powers struck a chord with Dan, and she resolved to make a name for herself.
Learning the basics of proper magic casting herself, her family sent her away to train with an old family friend after her first attempt at casting a fire spell. And she found the eccentric, skull helmeted, lightning fingered Dread Wizard Ricardio to be a very good interesting teacher indeed, learning the ever important art of costume design and maintenance alongside the art of setting people on fire and making women in skirts go 'kyaaa', a life skill that every wind mage needs to learn.
Having moved on to Izarra academy to finish her training, she graduated second in her class, having learned a myriad of subjects, such as budgeting, anima magics, acting, basic tactics and strategy, how to identify the various monsters in this world, basic alchemy, defenses against the dark arts, why pants are necessary around wind mages, how to speak confidently about a subject you know nothing about, and how to make rivals.
Recently she has received a challenge from her old mentor, to find him in Penultia and defeat him for his title as the Dread Wizard, earn the respect and fear it inspires, and finally allow him to retire. Which is easier said than done when he insists on making it seem as if she has a dark and mysterious past and needs to defeat him and his great evil.
And partly as a desire to prove that she isn't just a useless over the top chuuni braggart and be taken seriously for once, she has sought out the 'goddess' sending out an earnest call for talented adventurers to defeat the demon lord, as even if this doesn't pan out, getting a few more marks on her seven kingdom completion list should help pad out her resume, and if it *does*, then long live Dread Wizard Ricardo the Fifth, may she not rub the fact that she has a million Rhea and helped best the demon lord all into everyone's noses.
