We do have a helmet, the bascinet. Getting one for Soion can be +1
I forgot about that and I even looked at the equipment we had and I didn't see it, my eyes are being stupid.

I shall add nice easy to read item types before the descriptors
-------------

You have a simple plan, return to ruins and see what else there is worth takeing.

But before that you have shopping to do at the armours,
It takes while but the third helmet fits Soion, it's a flat top helm made of iron with a pointed, M shaped opening that leaves the eyes and mouth exposed, and the pointed nose guard protects the nose. (-1 Money)

As you leave the stall you feel a hand tug at your belt and warring cry "Theft! A pick pocket!"
You turn to face them as your purse spills on the floor and the rouge dives into the crowd.
There's little you can do but collect your spilt purse and be thankful that you keep it only half full.
(-1 Money)

You have to buy more supplys, if your to truely see what the tomb holds then you'll need more then just a shovel an pick.
Hireing miners is easy but they strike a hard bargain, there work is risky at the best of times but the offer of coin up front does much to persade them.
(-1 Money)

The trip back to the mine is uneventfully dull.

Work soon gets underway, while the miners are disturbed by the leach beast's body and make you burn the eggs.
Only after the mines are flooded with the smoke of pungent incense, do any of them enter the mine.

The next two days pass with the steady filling of your loot chest (+3 money?) then trouble arrives in the form of an armed band of nine.

It's easy to spot there leader, she's the best armour with a battered yushman of mail an plate.
Beside her is a man you recognise from the battle, he was on your side.
There leader stops outside of javelin range, looks at you with her one good eye
She yells her name "I am Wulfhild! the Widow-maker of three score men!
You are trespassers here Leave! Or Else-wise.." she states her demand, drawing a long sword to make the or else clear.

1: Pack up an leave?
2: Try to bribe her?
3: Attack thou your out numbered 9 to 2?
4: Hide in the ruins?
5: Other?

+1

+1 why the heck not
4
"Run!" you shout as you run in to ruins.

There's chaos as the miners scatter about, many pushing past you as you reach the centre of the digging.

"Hah hah oh what are you doing? i'm not after a fight if we can help it.
You too! Stay here and keep them in there.
The rest of you dog search the camp! they most of found something to pay for all this."

"Valeria What does she what?" Soion asks you
"Us to leave so she can take over the ruin an have all the treasure for her own."
"Well lets think about it, how many are there?"
"Nine, why you planing on fighting them?
"What else? We stay in here an she takes off with all our stuff?
"There well armed, she's got a fancy mail coat an sword, two others have some as well but the rest are not that well armoured.
Maybe if we had a surprise and rushed them, that might work if we take some of them before the others can help them."

You planing is interrupted by a cheer, your strong box has been found.
1) Stay
2) Fight?
3) Do something clever?

We should wait until they leave, follow them about until they make camp somewhere, and kill them while they sleep.

"No wait! That's madness.
Let them take it, then we tack them an take it back."

Its a short wait, as your camp site is quickly turned upside down.

You hear there shorts of joy when your strong box is found.
It's not long before its carried away, an on your own horse no less!

You wait until the robbers are gone before you leave the mine.

The camp has been well worked over, and the miners are all gone, you stop just long enough to collect some supply's and head after there trail.

At first the horses are easy to follow but soon the earth gives way to rock and the trail ends at a stream.
As the sun starts to dip below the trees it's clear that you have no hope of following them any farther.

The next day on your way back to town you meet a fellow traveller.

He's an old man, wrinkled in his ragged robes and the dozens of heavy necklaces made of beads, bones and all shorts of trinkets.
He waves to you and begins a sales pitch.
"Ah you've... wait don't tell me, i'm Uwyn dealer of wonders in your hand and wine.
And for you dear lady today i have something special." he rummages in his necklaces.
"Ah here it is the arrow, the one an only with your name on it."
He hold an arrow head with some scratches on it in front of you.

"That's not my name" you protest but he keeps going.
"Oh but it is, in the signs .
With this you need never fear an arrow.
One silver talent for such safely is not to much to ask is it not?"
---Buy the amulet?---

Reaching the port of Mizya once again, you settle back in the tavern for the night.

During the night you stay up, drinking and listening to rumours.

1

A local priest is looking for guards to help transport valuable offerings to a remote site.

2
---------
The man sites in front of you, his hair brown matted, left eye swollen shut
"Please, champion stay a moment and hear me out will you?
I an Andosteni, son of Ilerie the half handed, a noble man without land or the men left to claim a title from.
It is a sad tale of war, at first they destroyed our crops, then they killed our livestock to drive us out.
We stood against then for a day but yet they still came, more wild men.

I.. i've lost it all my.. my mother.. my lover.. my everything.
I i want retribution and vengeance, blood for blood and skulls to put there spits to rest.
For that i need every fighter i can get. Hero, will you join me and help.
I can't pay much but you can have this if you swear to come."
He puts his silver neck toque on the table and holds out his hand.

A) Buy the amulet?
1) help priest?
2) help Andosteni?

A2

Your wait in port is a short one as you soon hear of a ship leaving on the morning tide towards your destination.
It's captain, Ethelwulf 'Silver Teeth' is easy to find, he's a squat mass of bead, body hair and an impressive beer gut.
As you all discuss your journey he boast that he alone knows a shortcut, a safe passage thru some deadly rocks that he claims will save you a week of travel.

The first week is dull, you spend your time siting on deck and fishing over the side.
But the next week is not so dull, the sky turns black an thunder rumbles in the distance an the winds rises.
Soon your struggling to keep hold on to your gear as a strong gale tears at the sails and waves wash over the deck.
After the weather pass the rest of your journey is uneventful.

Finally the ship reaches, Andosteni's destination and you can begin.

You listen as Andosteni sets out his too..well you soon realice that he not a natural planner, his main two ideas are sneak in to the enermys fortress during the night or ambush them on the road.
Maybe you can come up with a better idea.
