Slowly - slowly enough that one might not see it unless they were to watch for a month - the woodwyrms disentangled themselves from their roosts. And when they finally had, they were hungry - the hunger of ages spent without food, waiting for it to return.
And so the wyrms flew across the jungles, and upon the snowstubs they fed. It was said that not a single one of the bewooled creatures survived the hunt. But, sated, the wyrms settled, content to live among the foliage around them, and the elves greeted them as old friends.

Woolly Snowstubs have been replaced with Woodwyrms. Elves and Woodwyrms live among each other and aid the other with the gathering of food.

As got told to me, you can’t create new relationships. As there is not, presently, any relationship between tealcats and woolly snowstubs, I don’t think you’re able to define one.
I assure you, my life would be easier if such actions were valid.

That's right Kitty, in the Titan phase there is only changing or removing relationships. For example, they could farm catnip.

But as the size of the summary indicates(and perhaps the absence of some players) the ecosystem is already plenty complex, as far as total relationships. So these battle rounds are just changing individual already existing ones to something else.

Unfortunately for catnip, this would actually mean that it becomes less common, and since plants don't get intelligence, it doesn't get anything useful out of the deal.

Due to the good relationship between Tealcats and water nymphs, Nissan visits the shores of the southeast forests. Naiads enter the forest, preaching about religion and icefluff. But it is too warm for icefluff to grow well. Nissan and her religious entourage travel depart the forests and travel upriver to the northwest mountains where the weather is colder, and begin preaching. They bring icefluff to the mountain peaks, allowing new Naiads to be mature in the northwest.

In the Southwest, water sprites leave the actual herding of the woolly snowstubs to the Saerics, merely gathering the icefluff from the snowstubs when needed.
