Well I was thinking of ideas from the walking dead here.

Aside needing machine shop to make our own bullets. Three ways to weaponize zombies.

1: Herd them onto perimete but secured. Watch dogs that need to be dealt with before going to our turf.

2: Taint our melee, bolts and arrows. ( Bolts are crossbow shots.). Taint it with what? Zombie viscera. So any hot will love them turning and the other guys will be eating each other.

3. This one takes a extreme amount of guts, chemical treatment and sanitation. Hell its a suggestion, not s idea I would jump to.

Zombie costumes, of zombie flesh ( Whispers) just as long not loud or do shit that gives you away, can sneak into ranks of zombies and herd them where they got to go.

Smoothbore guns are a classic of the american frontier, and easy to make. By taking the classic muzzle loader design, rifling the barrel, and switching to an internal primer chemical to fire, we create an easy to make and accurate firearm. A bayonet lug for knives is ti be added under the barrel.

Splinter Crossbow:
The Splinter is a durable crossbow with a simple crank cocking mechanism to enable quick reloading. The Splinter is a great anti dead weapon that is silent and accurate with ammo that is very easy to make. It has a solid stock that means it can double as an effective club.

Let's start off with something I know we'll be able to mass produce.

The gun is good too, but right now cross. Bow is better deal. Bolts break in 3-5 shots and easy to make. Also noise, and in time can make viral bolts

Old Faithful should get screen time too, just doing it this way because first/oldest models get the cheapest work to be powered up. Hell can picture now a explosive attached to a bolt fired off, like a jury rigged rpg.

This isn't Boston. The west was won with rifles. Repeating rifles. It's in our blood. So let's secure that crossbow as quickly as possible, then work on a real weapon for as long as it takes.

Your Splinter Crossbow has been completed. Early tests show that it performs just as well as it was intended to, but the design shows a longer range than intended. Great Job!

Yep my targets would be southwest to Texas, oil is there. Oil equals fuel, or North Dakota withnthat natural gas reserve.

The only places Boston can get fuel is coal from West Curgina, the Gulf Coast, or invading in our Texas.
