So quiet here... Guys? I'm a Bay Watcher now! Thanks for the feedback. Now I was thinking, I am the only one posting papercrafts here, and now it has become a story. Shouldn't we move the thread to Community stories and Games? I'm asking cause I don't know how it works.

Yep, it should be in community games and stories.

Oh I accidentally moved it to Announcements and ended up with a tantrum for a whole day  :) Thanks Toady It's fixed.
There are now two MOVED: links directing through the forums, but they lead here, so I guess it's okay.
Next release we'll return to our dwarf heroes, now with platforms so they can stand instead of lying on rocks  :).

I'm surprised that you could move threads to Announcements in the first place.

I still can't believe such famous forum artists adore my work. But it's great.  :) I have only a little time today, platforms were already applied how needed in next scene. Tomorrow or Saturday next episode could be finished, we'll see. By the way, would you like to interact with the story too? I need ideas you know.  :)

Here we go! Enjoy.

Our dwarven heroes continued on their journey to found new fortress. They were travelling in a highland, and joyous singing could be heard all over the place.

Olmul (singing): "And they sang anvils! But then I told them that..."
Alak : "Shut up!"
Kin and Olmul: "These anvils were just boulders! And the best ones dwarves had..."
Kin: "Stood for few more ages till they melted down in dwarfs best friend!"
Kin and Olmul: "Yay!!!"
Olmul: "And they sang anvils..."

Alak yelled: "For the sake of the world, just shut up!!!"

Berath said: "I must insist. I do admire their singing."

Alak started throwing insults. "Zodostshokmut!!! Just stop!"
Berath pressed on: "No I mean it. I do amire..."
Alak shouted: "Aaaaah!!! Can't we just, you know, get in silence to the mountain, build a fortress and live happily ever after? Eh?"
Silence.
"Finally!"

Olmul whispered to Kin : "Pity I don't have asrer here. My dad used to have a shop with percussions, you know."
After he calmed down, Alak asked: "So, navigator. Now that you stopped singing... How's the situation?"
Olmul proudly said: "According to my excellent plans, were heading to Tetistinen. Hope we'll cross the hills soon..."

Vúsh was looking at the sky. She said: "The clouds look pretty bad."
"Rain? Storm?" asked Kin.
"No. She means some sort of sign." said Urnût.

Alak : "Oh please, don't start again with signs and omens. You ain't tribesmen anymore."
Vúsh : "Don't speak like that! We shouldn't understimate Dakon! Those who disturb Midor will call lushût on themselves!"
Berath : "Do you believe in omens, Urnût?"
Urnût : "Omens? Like seeing a roc above your head brings you good luck? Seriously, that's why I abandoned the culture as soon it was possible."
Vúsh : "Traitor!"
Ermis : "I heard that eating eggs more than three times a day brings up a terrible disaster, is it so?"
Urnût : "Brings up tantrum at best."
Vúsh : "More than tantrum! Such lushút can't be so easily removed! You need to stare on giant sponge till the sun settles down!"

Olmul : "Hey guys, that looks like the Black Pillar! Some sort of memorial. We're getting closer!"
Alak : "At last! You should sing only in happy moments like this!"

Vúsh : "Wait. Is that a toad on the pillar?"
Urnût : "Tell me. What's it now?"
Berath : "It's truly a toad!"
"What's taking them so long?" thought the toad.

Vúsh : "Stop! Stop! We must go no further! That's the toad in a highs, a Nodobok! Strong Aroth must permeate here!"
Alak : "Oh c'mon, a toad won't bite us. Let's go."
Vúsh : "Fine. But I warned you! Disturbing Midor is a bad idea."
"Finally. Hey what? Why are they stopping again?" thought the toad, and started losing patience.

Berath : "Back, back! Band of goblins ahead! If they see us, we're..."
Vúsh : "See, you nonbelievers?"
Olmul : "And what if I just picked my sword and..."

Alak : "Forget the sword! We must hide the wagon! Turn back!"
Kin : "Heard the lord, furheads! Turn back! And don't make noises, okay?"
"Wha... What? Oh crap! No good. Dumb goblins... I must meet this caravan later. I'll distract the goblins. Those dwarves don't seem clever enough, I shall help them." thought the toad.

Goblins came to the pillar.
"Hey boss! A toad!" shouted one goblin.

Goblin boss said: "I don't care about toads! Some caravans are to pass Tetistinen. That's our business here!"
One goblin asked: "How do we know that?"
"It's season." replied the boss.

Toad called: "Hey, gobbos!"
Goblins turned.
"It talks!" one said.
Their boss shouted: "Toad! Have you seen some caravans near here?"
"Why?" asked the toad. "It's seas..." started some goblin, but was quickly interrupted:
"Cause toads who lie to me tend to not end very well. Speak!"
Toad calmly said: "No."
Goblin boss was angry. "Knock it down!"

"Fools! I am untouchable!" shouted the toad. Goblin tried to knock it with his spear.
"Ouch!" toad said. "Don't touch me!"
"Sooo?" asked the goblin boss.
"Okay, okay!" toad said. "There was dwarven caravan passing in this direction."

Goblin boss turned back. "Fine. Let's go boys, we migt have missed them."
One of the goblins asked: "And what about the toad?" "Forget the toad!" boss replied.

Toad hopped down from the pillar and tried to find the wagon. "Where have they gone they again?"

Since tangents are the only thing I'm capable of going on: if wagons have 4 wheels, why do they scuttle when their attached animal dies? Is there some kind of magic soul bonding where the animal gives its life force to the wagon?

Wagons are big mystery. Like anvils.
If you admire Olmuls singing too, now you can sing along.  :)

Ooh, critters stand on their own two feet now! Lovely.

The beast kicks the wagon apart in its death throes.
