Pathos was a rather infamous forum poster from yester-year.

So infamous, his original account was nuked from orbit, it seems.
I can only guess that Pathos was... something "special".

I stayed pretty much exclusively in Fortress Discussion in those days, so I did not experience the glory of Pathos, despite being a contemporary of that era.

However, the prevailing current I get is that he used a lot of sock puppet accounts to engage in active trolling of the community, which Toady did not approve of.   He apparently used so many sock puppets, that it became a joke that everyone else's account was really a sock puppet of Pathos.  Hence, "All are pathos".

Much like ACE and Grishna5, our more recent trolls, his antics have spawned a sort of quasi-religious reverence, in a purely tongue-in-cheek fashion.

I found ACE.'s profile, and I can't really see anything banworthy other than spewing nonsense on a postly basis. Diving further into the post history, there was another cabbage discussion thread back in March 2018. I suppose this thread's an anniversary?
