I've not looked much into that sort of thing, but I think DFHack has a script to help keep the mess down. You might look into that.

The only problem with that is that I can not figure out how to download it to save my life, let alone configure it to not have all the cheaty stuff.

the child should serve well in the infantry (that is a horrible pun, and I already regret saying it).

Nothing interesting is happening at all. If anything does happen, I'll post.

21st of limestone, 119
Apparently the caverns are now the best place to leave?
I sent a whiny leatherworker to got raid a goblin fortress, and they left through the caverns. Just like the caravan.
I am so confused.

Our block stockpile has grown very large very quickly. Good.

So I retired, got a Great axeman then came back.
Let's see;
A seige happened.
Onul died. (I will miss his food.)
We now have a hammerer.
ALL OF OUR ARTIFACTS ARE GONE, EXCEPT THE OPPOSSUM BONE BATTLEAXE.
There is a fortress to the direct south of us that is economically linked to us.
There appears to be an army of angry bards/scholars strewn everywhere.
We have ant problems.

We now know all of the caverns.
There seems to be a lot more peasants.
did i mention ALL OF OUR ARTIFACTS ARE GONE?
This all happened in a month.

I am commissioning a adamantine statue to honor Onul Treatytongs, the best cook in the history of Ostrasp, and the last remaining founder. It will show him cooking some alfalfa. Simple. Just like he liked it.
