The Drake Rod's a pretty decent statstick for a ranged character, especially early in the game.

Is there any harm in letting my pets eat rotten food?

Unless they can digest rotten food, they suffer the same negative effects as you do. Vomiting, stat abuse, increased hunger, etc.

I don't think they can develop anorexia though.

Playing E+C, I've never noticed any vomiting after pets eat rotten food, and their hunger seemed satiated after one or two rotten meals because they won't eat any more, so I assumed they had some sort of immunity. But I am concerned about stat loss...

I can confirm pet stat loss after my idiots go eat any rotten/undead corpses they possibly can.

Also, is there a list of South Tyris (or 3rd continent) cargo prices or a guide similar to the one for North Tyris?

Jp wiki + google translate should prove somewhat useable.

I want to tame a Kentaurs to be my new mount...but I've had no luck diving into lvl 30 dungeons. Is there any other trick for finding specific monsters, or is it just RNG?

For the most part, RNG.

A kentaurs is a level 30 horse, so consider looking in forest-type dungeons around that level.

The maid at my estate introduced me to a visiting adventurer, who happens to be holding a Beetle Cyborg. I want it.
Is there anything I should be aware of before I order my baby dragon to eat her?

I mean, Dragons start fires. In your home, which doesn't regenerate like towns do.

I'd recommend trading something lightweight and valuable to them (scrolls of name or oracle work) in exchange for the thing you want, then steal the scrolls back (or not).

The chance for that to drop is not guaranteed, and you're liable to piss them off forever. If you've got a stack of potions of cure corruption/high potions, or an artifact of roughly equal value, try trading instead,

I got my first <Evolution Heart>!
My Kentaurs can clearly make the best use of it...however, it dropped in the middle of a particularly nasty encounter with a dungeon boss during which a bunch of invisible fairies showed up and started harassing me. I nearly died, but managed to teleport away and hide in a cloud of smoke as I spammed underleveled healing spells to get my health back to safe levels, and then tossed bottles of crim ale randomly until I hit the fairies, drenching them and revealing them so I could rip their little wings off with my bear hands! At least that's how I remember it going down. The whole time I was messing around with the fairies, my Fire Dragon Child stayed behind and solo'd the boss, like a boss. So yeah, Dragon Child MVP earned that Evolution Heart, and is now a giant fire-bird dragon thing.
Also, just as soon as this pesky Etherwind ends, I am grabbing all my small medals and going directly to buy a see-invis helmet.
