I apologize if there are longer delays on my end during this fight, though it is to be expected. I am processing all the applications, and everything else involved in preparing season 1, simultaneously. Helping players register will be my top priority.

A summary of changes from your earlier battles:
-You now draw 2 when you play a card, rather than when you don't.
-Evade is gone.
-Engine size removes that much hit from attacks to your legs, in addition to the ZIP boost.
-Using coolant can be done without discarding a card.
-Far or Near cards may go first, regardless of ZIP, if matching the current distance between two mechs. Self cards trump both.
-External modules can be targeted separately(hands, equipment).

Some things that will be altered just for this fight:
-All mechs will have their coolant system increased by 1 rank. Additionally, COOLING LASER's coolant system will increase 4 ranks. (Since old beam balance had lower heat costs, and CL was made before new cooling system mechanics.)
-Holding equipment will require empty slots of equal amount to equipment size. Recoil from punch attacks will be nullified(requires hand).  (Since your mechs were made before new equipment/hand mechanics.)
-No fuel consumption restrictions related to jump jet size. All mechs will have jump jets and +4 fuel(only to be used for jumping). Additionally, if you already have jets you will get +1 fuel per jet. (Since the old game balance didn't have jump jet size mechanics, and strongly featured "free"/"discard" evading.)
-Custom Cards that succeed will receive 'tested' status, if you make a new set with 3 tested cards you might be able publish your mech after a review of the new configuration.
-Retired penalty cards will unfortunately still be in your deck. (To maintain original balance.)
-You will not be able to die.

It seems the vote is in favor of using inverted commas in the codec? If it helps to remember to use them when outside your mech, I understand that.
