Ok, so this has been driving me nuts for months, but my tablet randomly plays a weird melody. I've checked all the alarms and none are set. I've checked the calendar and there is nothing there either. I have run malwarebytes in case of troll hacker and no cigar.

Any clue as to what might be causing this?

1) check notification settings.  Check for apps that might be sending notifications.

2) Check if you have allowed things like amber alerts / presidential alerts.
