—The Prophecy

You command the order to secure a reserve stash of anti-demon stuff.

(Mystery Solved) You are approached by the Emperor. He has been convinced by your Lord to give you all the support you need. Your gluttony gets the best of you, causing you to severely drain the empire on your quest. Your love of gratuitous violence inspires you to quell disobedience with gladiatorial battles to the death. But you soon grow cruel, using any excuse to throw people in the pit. You begin using exotic beasts. But you grow bored of them, and begin to look into demonic summoning. Thankfully, as your skin grows red as a rose and your mind burns away, and your horns grow from the demonic contamination, and your eyes melt away into black voids of greed, you have armed your order to take you down. And on the second day of spring, your blood lies on a field of flowers. You have saved the word from yourself.

You leak to the public anything suspicious about your project.

(Mystery Solved) You first resist the visions. You hide within yourself, and in your gluttony you grow very fat all winter. Your girlfriend is disgusted in your lack of care of your health, she leaves you. You take a hard look at yourself, as spring sets you get yourself back in shape. The visions come back, but you feel you aren't crazy, and you've seen enough weird things at your work to grow suspicious. You sneak onto the project lead's computer after triggering a fire alarm. You see lists and lists of projects, but you only have time to copy one. You are looking for something to do with the chitin, you find one labeled, Maxilla Project. It is your best guess. As your boss steps back into her office you are already rounding the hallway corner. With the information on the drive you expose some highly dangerous and illegal public tests of using the chitin compound to influence the brain and growth hormones of the subjects, with terrifying results on insects and mammal test subjects. You uncovered the conspiracy and saved the world.

(Apocalypse) You kill one of the other test subjects and pose as them to get inside. You are allowed a small amount of personal effects, but no pets. You smuggle in your dog anyway. You are sealed in for the start of the 20 year experiment. On the door cam you watch as over the months the world turns to chaos. A young woman beats on your door asking to come in. As a sucker for damsels in distress you say "Hold on!" and try to open the door. The timing mechanism is far more sophisticated than the normal computer doors you work on as a locksmith. (25+9 vs. 97) Something goes wrong, and you break the opening mechanism. You are trapped permanently.
