Two men dead at his hand today. William stared down at the body of the second monk as blood dripped from his sword, and almost mechanically he wiped the liquid off with the dead man's robes. Behind him, he heard the strange thief taunting the gang leader.

"...We're killing them all then?"

"...All right. If we let these scum live, they'll just bother other innocent people."

He turned from the bodies and looked back west, where the remaining gang members were making their stand, and renewed his combat stance.
