Especially that last one. What kind of sick person would even write that about a hero of the Ixion War?

He could hardly say his interest was mainly that reading made everything go away almost as much as drinking did and so it didn't matter what he was reading, just that his mind was occupied... so he didn't say it.

"A lot of it can be fairly dry. It's more interesting when the author explores the causes of things rather than just flatly stating that 'this war happened' or 'so and so was assassinated'."
