Astera frowned slightly.

"Err, well, rumors. They say bandit group have valuables. Not find anything, just paper. So I take paper."

"It does sound like someone's journal. So our best shot is finding the rest of it...And you know what  that means."
While he spoke, he opened a hatch near the building before glancing to the side.
"We will be paying that gang a visit. Borgo wouldn't be talking about the treasure so openly if they didn't have the other pieces."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"And if they've got their eye on us we must deal with them sooner or later. After you."

William made to follow Ismo.

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Yes. Eventually they will catch up with us, but we will need a proper plan to get what we want without bringing the whole gang on us."
With that Ismo climbed downstairs to the tunnels, glancing around just to check if someone else was nearby.
"Clear."

"Your reasoning is sound, but was the point not to evade the rest of the gang?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

William nodded to Vigdis.

"We do need to figure out our next move once we've regrouped ourselves. The way I see it, we can either go after this gang and see if they possess any other leads, or we search around town for a dedicated historian who might know some of the names mentioned on the paper."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"We cannot take on the entire gang by ourselves, which is why I said we need a proper plan. It will be a lot more productive to only ambush the members carrying what we after after instead of facing their entire organization, unless you think you have enough combat experience to handle that."
Ismo moved a hand under his masked chin pondering for a moment before glancing towards a specific direction of the tunnel.
"Getting a lead on that will be important, yes. So we have two ways to approach the issue; contact an informant to find out where they are guarding it or we can sneak in closer by ourselves to investigate and gain that sort of information by spying on them."

[GiglameshDespair]

"I am guessing you have an informant, Mr Mysterious."

[Swordstar]

"Heh, Mr. Mysterious. I like how this sounds. Good words. Now, food time? Food is good for helping plan."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"As a matter of fact, I do, Mrs Glasses."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Heh. Miss Glasses, if you would - I believe you will find me unmarried."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Is that so? Very well then, Miss Glasses. If we are all here, I will show you where to find the informant..."
Ismo briefly glanced to the side before finishing his sentence.
"...And provide some certain guests food too, apparently."
Ismo moved forward to guide them through the tunnel, only to suddenly stop and open a door without explaining the reason.
"Excuse me for a moment. I was not expecting this outcome, so I will also need to take something from here."
Soon enough the masked man returned holding a blue egg.
"I got what I needed, let us proceed. This path will take us to the informant's...Store."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"A store certainly sounds better than some sketchy tunnels - no offense meant."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Every corner of the slums are sketchy, so visiting his store will just be a temporary way to keep us out of the streets. That and of course gain the information we are looking for."

"Right, thank you, but..." Amber said, looking at a very specific spot, "What's that egg thing?"
