: Cue phone call. Desk jockey answers.:

“ Walter  and Wyatt agency, this is Selina.”

Cue after phone call a meeting with the two. Walter is a huge man due to a gluttony life style, Wyatt is well tall and thin like a stick. It is almost comedy. Though yes they hear the case.

“ So the government is trying to muscle in on your creative work and regulate it? That’s not good. But we will support you. Aside our feed give us access to what has been published. As we feel if we know content we are defending, will apply it to all of this legal business.”

Easy to do, after all it’s your work.

In September the trail takes place. Brian out of the hospital and stil in crunches for next three weeks.

Will discuss that guys stats latter. As he had access to art stuff thanks to Lily and has 5 genres now.

The man representing your case and the company was a smooth young man named Tristan.

He makes a case that while the comics pull no punches, it does not promote violence, cults or anything implied. That the comics are harmless escapes from reality as a survey done by W and W shows that those who read Fotron are law abiding citizens. Also Call of Dark was, despite violence and horror is a Hidden hope message. That one can hold off the darkness that threatens to end the world and in Alpha Man it shows what a real super powered hero would be like.

Not done Clown in s cape and mobeybto punch criminals in the face, or some alien God who pretends to be human. Rather someone who volunteers to help the world though the acts of good wil threaten to kill him.

Results roll:

14 out of 20.

Instead of your comics directly being banned, they are allowed to be  sold. However if going uncensored work like Call of Dark was. Will have to be mailed to peoples houses altogether so the market has responsibility. Alpha Man “can” be sold in book stores, just tone down the violence as the patriotic issue had Alpha Man ca nazis. No restrains so infamous for the gritty nature of super violence.

Also got to have a reviewer who has grading scale to review new stuff. And see where it is placed approval level.

This level of censorship expires in 1972. Then see if world can tolerate it full scale. Because the real grit stuff is mail only.

October:

Brian new stats
Writing: 5
Pencils: 5
Ink: 3
Color: 2
Letter:2
Editing: 2

Genres: 5 altogether.

: After the case it seems like a good idea to do paper back books. But got to be careful which ones to use. Since 4 staff with writing and three have editing. Could screen through 18 books at a time. Each can make cash. But got to put another label for books so Fotron does not get confusion.:

( Will just make up books revealed and some said books have new genres not available yet.)

The label for printing books could be book quest, and we should keep working on the comics that we've been doing, even if ones mail order only now.

Book Quest is a go And here are the books so far at the top of the Pile.

Guns of Sol: Science fiction written by a ex navy officer. The genre can be defined as Space Opera. Due to outer space adventure, while the universe is actually detailed to make it feel real.

Heat of the Moment: Pure trash, gutter paper. For bored and lonely house wives. It’s a detective story and it well, yeah. Everyone has agreed to toss this one.

Caliburn: Nsned after one of Arthur’s swords, but has nothing to do with King Arthur. Instead fictional Europe with magic and monsters. The heroes are a small band of mercenaries who fight for the dollar. Their leader Cergil, has a sword that can shoot fireballs.

On a Sunday: A recount of Pearl Harbor by those at the city during the bombing raid.

Animal Alpga et Friebds: A children’s book with illustrations. Educating and showing stories of animals by letter basis. Could break the stigma of violent image and schools may buy copies for classes. A certainty for the buck.

( Can puck up to three books. 7 Print missions and two in use always. To safe the last two for more stuff.)

We should sell more of the Animal Alpgabet Friends books, for the schools ordered, and regular people.

And on the comics front we should keep working on them.

Massive lay out for the School deal, though they are on a budget but in total 15k on a yearly basis, and not counting new sells until next month.

Comics:

Call of Darkness 3: Given Mail in stamps, can really cut loose now with plot and such.

Alpha Man normal again: Can go one of three ways in Franklins ideas.

1: Slowly introduce other super people
2: Alpha Man tries to extend his own time limit to stay alive.
3: Beats up invading aliens. Outter Space Or dimensional critters.

Brian notes: Note he can do two a week, due to Writer 5 and Pencil 5. So really just needs inker, color, and letters done for him ( and he plans to get even better than that.)

Idea 1: A comedy about a blue lizard on a journey to find happiness and along the way meets friends.

2: A gigantic robot comic in which giant robots are used in future wars.

3: Tales of a genetic super soldier dealing with a future war.

4: A Fantasy post apocalypse world adventure story deal.

5: A Modern Fantasy where a American Indian teenager discovers he is the “ King of America” and if he passes trials to earn it, is in charge of all the fantastic urban magic stuff going on in the states.

6: A low fantasy piecevwith military/ history notes of Mercs in which the men for hire go on dangerous missions dealing with human and supernatural.

7: His own super hero. This time a child who discovers a device that responds to his thoughts, makes himself a super hero and tries to have responsibility Thing like Spider Mab.

8: A Super Hero Team. That fight for great justice.

9: The Adventures of a Man, His friends and family in a sci fi horror adventure. They are touring the multiverse unwillingly and find strange and scarybworlds at every turn.

10: A fantasy story done like a classic poem or story like the classics of Homer. In this story a young woman who trains herself from a child seeks to kill a monster that is said to be inkilla le because it took her family away.

I like the sounds of these ones.

Alpha Man normal again:
2: Alpha Man tries to extend his own time limit to stay alive.

Rolls for comic sales:

Alpha Man Issue 2.

12 In sells ( sold out again.)
10 for Fandom: Now the Comic has fan section with their own art work. Really freely appeal
Reaction: 2. The plot of him now having a scientist girl friend who developed a vita wave machine to heal John Freeman, so can reset timer has, a lot of hate. It subtle to see we need cash, means we need Alpha Man alive. Lucky though only a set few decide to vent. Others just happy he is still kicking.

35k deal ( As sponsors give out more cash as the book sells, so they get product bought. So in turn more cash.)

Goo: A whacky family friendly adventure of a strange blue lizard on a adventure.
Sales: 10.
Fan: 4. Not really appealing as fans are used to more serious stuff.
Reaction: 9. But it surprised a lot of people to venture into a new genre and Lilly Cobrad is ontop if he game. As her Brush perk applies to comedy.

So the book is a epic display of talent.

25k total.

Notice: You can use cash to buy up more buildings or work on what you own. Aside staff pay cut.

Jotun: A sci fi War epic with gigantic engines of war. Gritty, visual, and to the point. This is the result of a nightmare Mr Barfield had after the accident. Also this book he wrote and drew. The others did rest.

Sales: 12. Due to nature of the Book was in mail center with Call. But every single copy got sold. Literally. It seems word of mouth spread with those who bought and it spreads.

Fan: 6. It is a slow movement as this poteinally can out rank Call and Alpha Man.

Reaction: 12 of 12 And 6 Of 6.

This work. Stunned the presses and reviews. The truth the war machines are actually cyborgs and the giant bio weapon monsters. It, is like a nightmare drawn out, with moments of absolute force and power. It is being nominated for strongest intro into a series. And a European company wishes to make a animated motion picture out of this single issue.

Now to do GM thing and add subtract cash.

Thinking of doing another thread.

Also now in plot it is around Halloween season, then the Holidays. Then Cue first time skip.

I guess we should keep working on Alpha Man, Goo, Jotun, and Call of Darkness.

Also what building can we buy, and what do you mean by "work on what you own"?
And how long will the time skip be?

Work on what you own meanscexpanding/ construction additions to the building your currently at. Mildly busy right now so will do the additions/ news buildinfs latter.

As for Time skip, thinking hopping from 1947 to 50s so three years and plenty of things will be rolled to see what happens.

Well I guess we should keep working on Alpha Man, Goo, Jotun, and Call of Darkness.

Last sales for now. This year.

Call of Darkness: 8,8, 2.

Selling was decent. Fans still there but some fans are getting jaded which is why sales are so low. Shown in mail that the fans love monsters and magic and etc. but just one main character who constantly survives? There needs to be more or something and make everyone just as important. Because horror characters are met to be vulnerable and may even die and not brought back. This critical is due to fact our detective now manages to “win” more. Some even call it horror light.

18k with ads.

Alpha Man: 7,7,12

Sales were not as great despite fact still pretty of action. Though it could be AM cones across as preachy a ton of the time. Which turns some viewers off. Well Jotun got a movie, Disney and Warner Brothers are competing to who gets to make a animated movie of Alpha Man. Rosa, knows Walt so in that deal, she knows Walt is not a nice guy. Then again, WB may not respect the material. Rosa in the end spoke with her ex boss and WB. Found favor in Disney, on condition she supervised the drawing board and stuff while Disney has his bro deal with fiancés ( Real life note. Walt just told people what to do and some drawings. Walt’s bro did all the money handling.)

15k with ads

Goo: 10,7,7

Ironically the most light hearted comic sold the most this season. But it had touch of real as Goo finds out about what Death is. And inspires him to become even better than he was before. A strong message.

As for feed back, people want to use Goo characters in ads ( so you basically get more money.)

20k with ads.

Jotun: 9, ,4,12

Sales were not the best but still good. 18k

Fans were thrown in a loop that this was a Christmas issue and it shows despite tech if Mecha, pilots can leave the cock out and they have Christmas. Talking about stories and sharing laughed and crying together over what was lost.

This, really threw the fans off as they wanted the typical stuff.

The movie? A “ Smash” hit that maybe why Disney approached with a movie deal. The animation detail of adding motion to canvas actual did really well and it was true to the source material. It got a Academy award ( Snow White did too at a point) and it is selling big in Europe.

And Fotron gets to dedicate a English sub ( more money but less fans) or dub ( find company that does it but share more shares. Rosa leery about Disney here. As they want a nice image.)

Since the movie was such a monster of a hit in all Wurope and Russia. It nets the studio 200k.

Total and subtract 14 three times. 313k.

+ Disney movie: 363
+ Goo ads:  400

The studio is really well off.

Events1: Staff wise.

Howard: 14

Howard does really well and gets married to Vaelria Conrad. The Goldsteins And Conrads now basically run the place. Also having learned the business trade + mod to main characters choices.

Franklin: 2 (ouch!!)

Franklin Conrad, who helped from the start is dead. He was killed in a car wreck driving the family home due to a drunk driver. It happened in 1950. Due to this, Alpha Man is in hiatus for now. And no one is happy about it.

Brian: 20

Given his huge money machine he too knows some of the business deal, but stays on Earth not to rattle the cages and with Franklins death. He is thinking of doing a tribute issue to him. Also got married to Andrea Piper in 1949 and have Danny Barfield. She and him pretty much do their work at home.
He also has studied under Dona. Now he is 5 in editing and he maxed her writing.

Rosa:9

Due to her business sense is the negotiation master with studio deals. She helps build up the studio, too busy for a social life. Is basically a Aunt for the boys. Even teaching them the art she knows.

Dona:8

She is in a deep depression that her husband died. And has to be single mother with the twin sons. Despite how the staff are all family and even raise the kids.  She is still off mentally ( Now got to roll to see how well she does her job. Editing issues.)

Andrea: 12

She works strictly at home now and her work is still going strong and has taught herself lettering ( +3 lettering)

Vaelria: 9

Happily married and trying to keep her family together. So a - modifier as she may get over her head with work, home life and this family crisis.

Events 2: Product wise. (Years gone by)

Call: Due to times and that fan writing it has been discussed that should it still be a big plot but with more leads or a horror short story collection?

Alpha Man: Due to what happened to Franklin, currently on hiatus. And yes he is mourned by staff and fans alike.

Goo: With the ads the characters are selling out. Strong vibes and new life.

Jotun: As it turns out, Brian intended for it to be a mini series. After 12 issues and movie. Refuses to do more and wants to do another.

Meta Narrative:

Cue a special on the history channel. It was entitled “ Comics, Look into history.”

It was a broadcast that dealt with history of Fotron Comics and they had three speakers.

They were Marget Goldstein/ Chambers. Two men, Benjamin Conrad and Danny Barfield. The three of them spoke up. Naturally they were old but full of dignity.

They made comments. But they all agreed to this. Fotron Comics was not the House of Goldstein, or Conrad, or even Barfield. Everyone who worked there in the beginning years, were what made it great. The sheet balls of their mail service books Call of Darkness and Jotun blew everything out of the market. Hell Alpha Man was akin to Superman, but in a far more human light who had to deal with a imperfect world like the audience did. Goo, was a nice escape from the grim and grit. But it was still wrote out to appeal to everyone, not just kids.

Also the tragic death of Franklin Conrad, the Brothers obviously missed their dad. But talked of happy members not sad ones.

This legacy being discussed is what made the company unique. They also talked of Rosalina the ex Disney worker with high regards, and a picture of the Staff as it reads 1950. With another photo of the big check from Jotun and the Staff all having memos of their work.

Upgrade? Pick from below:

1: Bigger building: For more gear, staff and get more comics to go out. Cost: 60k

2: Foreign Patronage: Now selling books in other countries. For money and may inspire said countries. 40k for rights. Get money back in sales.

3: Everyone leveled up: At start in 1950. All Staff ( Howard Goldstein and etc) all gain random stat boosts. 5k ( it’s their own time and money for lessons.)

4: Buy out: See any studios not doing as well and buy them out for 100k. Get new studio, stories and staff ( that will be rolled by me) I’d do this, need someone or someone’s to go to new studio for management.

After upgrade pick. The game goes back to normal.

2 notes: I wish others would act in this. More players more stuff I would toss into mix.

2: Any interests in other because been working games out.

Can we only choose one of the upgrade options or can we stack multiple ones as long as we can afford them. Also I am slightly confused as to what our current cash amount is. I think our net income was 313. but I am not sure.
