Alrighty well the plot is we run business that makes either comic books or manga.

But first. Votes.

Single player/suggestion game? ( You Control two main business people, have to hire and make choices with npc staff.)

If this just do a write up of a male or female character. And partner in crime.

Or multiple players? ( everyone gets a job.)

In this case I would be npc owner and willing to do stuff. It still you guys are stars too.

Comic Book?

If so

1940s, 1980s, 90s or now?

Or Manga

1960s, 80s, 90s, or now?

As for game play and stats. Vote for beginning to see where this goes.

Lastly Studio/company name?

Now let’s make something happen.

Stuff:

There are stats, max stat level is 5.

Stats:

Writing: Making Excellent plots for genre piece.

Penciling: Actually drawing the pictures.

Inking: Giving depth to picture.

Coloring: Actual colors ( if not black and white.)

Lettering: Writing the letters in thought bubbles or narrative spots.

Editing: Its a dirty but necessary job, catching to see what is crap and what’s golden.

Genres: Depends on the year you start because many sub genres. Also due to being a printing house can do books too.

List:

Fantasy
Super Heroes
Horror
Comedy
Romance
Science Fiction
Classical
Wild West
Mystery
Spy

Book sizes: Biggest and most expensive are 60 pages. A story at default is 28. Ads in page give Company money but fans will not like it.

Also in setting shop get access to three buildings.

Library: Study new material.

School: Work our a stat, but not earning money at time, so careful.

Book Store: Actually spy in to see what people are buying.

The only other thing is story creation itself and the dice Gods in regards to sales.

Edit: If Going SG forum will only pick the two main characters stats. And if 90s or 2000s. There are many sub genres and hybrids.

As for magic a story

Title: Enough said
Premise: Also easy.
Star: The main person driving the plot.
Obstacle: What is bothering the star(s) of the show? Monsters, rivals. Etc?

Much latter today will update with actual character Creation. Just going to be a busy day at school.

Next will be main stars stats and two perks.

Then it starts. The main stars business partner gets stated. Y me.

Employees, get ransomed rolled stats and character traits.  More powerful the employee, more cash.

Time piece is 1948 or 49. Each turn has four phases basically a month. And the game can end well into the current now, with generation characters and even get movies and games made from your works. Depends on the era.

Not home but time enough to post.

Character name
Gender
Age

Stats: 9

Writing
Penciling
Inking
Coloring
Lettering
Editing

Genres for the comic books:
Fantasy
Science Fiction:
Super Heroes:
Military:
Mystery:
Spy:
Romance:
Horror:
Comedy,
Wild West:
Classical:

Pick 3 of those

Lastly two perks from following

1: Rich: Start off with a lot more cash at start.

2: Publishing House: No worries about going to a publishing house, you make the darn presses yourself and can sell books on the side.

3:  Imagination: With this, based on what genres known, can make up genres on the spot to be “ thread setting.” Stuff like Space Operas, Dark Fantasy, “Punk” And so forth.

4: Talented: Instead of 9 stat points at start, main star has 12 to spend.

5: Big name: Your Star Character already made a name. So name should sell. Cannot use this as a excuse for bad product though.

6: Staffed: Start off with four employees. Each have random stats.

7: Friends in the right places: You grew up being pals with someone, who now sells things. Get

8:   Love the Art: Instead Of starting out with three genre picks, get six.

9: Disgruntled Artist: You actually worked at Disney ( or another "cartoon company.” Due to this being a alternative history piece.)

10: Sponsors: Already Make ads for extra cash. Cuts one-four pages of content. But earn that extra cash.

11: Mood Piece: Get Bonus results to pencils based on artists mood.

12: The Power of the Brush: Declare it on a topic the character likes. Better inking and coloring results .

Then in character stuff, I will be npcs.
