Clothing made from animal products should be able to be reanimated and attack it’s wearer.

They should be able to be raised as intelligent undead whether or not the creature was sentient.

If we're going to get a Dwarf Fortress based TV show it needs to be a Netflix original that's written and directed by people that have no idea what the game is about or like.

Even betterworse: A movie adaptation, directed by Uwe Boll.

Dwarf Fortress -- kind of like Minecraft, but for people who hate themselves.

Dragons should always be older than our calendar.

In order to accomplish this, the age of each and every dragon should be calculated by assuming that the dragon was born on December 31st of the year prior to the current real world calendar year, and then subtracting that date from he current in-game date.

Mining should take many, many in game months/years. And if it’s interrupted in any way (as in the miner falls asleep or is even momentarily job canceled by a raven) the entire process needs to be started over.

If you're so sure that you're gonna end up killing all of dwarven civilization, why not make a statue depicting 2147483647 dead dwarves, all of which are burning? Name it something good, like Deaddead the Dead Dead Dead-Dead of Dying. Just put it in the main hall or something, as a grim reminder that they're all gonna die.

any time a dwarf mines you have to click the tile twenty times just like minecraft

follow up, dwarf fortress is now an idle game:

Vampires should be super weak, unintelligent, blind and unable to speak (except for swearing) so that they are actually cursed.

There is a rare type of Vampire that has the ability to talk called Nosferatu, but they don't use this ability because they come from a silent movie.

If artificial light sources are ever implemented, Nosferatus must also develop a habit of turning them on and off at random.

Add “rotation arrows” to the game.  These should always be rotating around the player and npcs, and should themselves be spinning.
