To add to the miniature creatures suggestion, I propose that like normal creatures, giant and miniature creatures should also have their own miniature and giant versions, respectively.

A giant miniature lion would be the size of a normal lion. So would be a miniature giant lion.

If someone manages to gather a normal sized, and these two varieties of a single creature in fortress or adventure mode and bring them all on one single tile, a black hole will open out of sheer redundancy.
