Bumber, right?

Make all things toggleable in the world-gen menu. Remove the fast world gen.

If you just said Yes to every question, surely there's going to be worldgens that go on forever and some that will eventually terminate.

I propose that this version of DF is now able to decide that a worldgen will go on forever or will terminate. It's not gonna do anything with that information, of course.

DF should now spend several hours generating history for the world, then immediately throw it all out when finished and make everything up as you play.

I am actually shocked I haven't heard this tactic being used in some games. False loading to give the impression more is going on.

Some websites do this. To give the impression the results you got were really worked hard on, Or that security things are not taken lightly.

I remember The Sims loading up with a progress bar and messages such as "Reticulating Splines...".

Now I'm wondering about those splines. Were all my Sims actually splineless!!!. I wonder if I can get a refund. Is 20 years too long to take up my consumer rights?

Terrible Suggestion*: pixelated genitals.

You've gone too far and gotten too real.

We can't have Starbound nude mods in df

All the virus search and speed up apps do this, now that you mention it.

Terrible suggestion: Steam Workshop nude mods. It's coming. This is a prediction.
