No matter what you do people will still complain about the sound of grass, so from now on the game deafens the player every time the game starts so no one can hear the grass.

Seriously injured creatures consume globs of UNKNOWN_SUBSTANCE.

In order to obtain UNKNOWN_SUBSTANCE, a dwarf must first be gelded by a dwarf with the ‘gelding’ labor at a farmer’s workshop.  This will create a ‘geldables’ vermin, which will devour the gelder and flee the workshop, devouring any dwarves it encounters.  Next, a dwarf with the  ‘trapping’ labor will need to trap the geldables using an animal trap.  This has a very high chance of resulting in the trapper being devoured and the geldables not being trapped.  Finally, a dwarf with the ‘small animal dissection’ labor will take the geldables to a butcher’s shop and, assuming that the small animal dissector isn’t devoured -something that is highly likely- (and you have an empty glass vial available), the small animal dissector will proceed to dissect the geldables, placing the UNKNOWN_SUBSTANCE into the vial.

UNKNOWN SUBSTANCE is now considered a mythical substance by the game, and creatures will attempt to consume it if they are injured during combat. Doing so makes you explode.

Damn, it is very close to the naming conventions for them isn't it.

Some generates mythical substances really should make creatures that consume them explode, launching all their body parts in arcs independently as if they'd all been chopped off by high velocity axe blades.

I want "explode" as a syndrome effect with severity affecting how many body parts explode and their launch velocity. And "recombobulate" to put creatures that have been exploded/had body parts severed pull themselves back together again into a resurrectable corpse/almost-healed individual that just needs suturing to be healthy, like when you blend a sea sponge.

Every syndrome should have a small chance to cause the afflicted explode, and any creature nearby hit with part of the exploding creature should also explode, and there should be no limit to how many creatures can explode from this, it should continue until it runs out of creatures nearby.
