The known laws of aviation have it that a bee should not be able to fly. Their wings should be deleted.

Oh they are able to fly, but they still violate the laws. Bees are now required to fly at 150z over rural areas in order to comply with known laws of aviation. Else, the individual bees shall be arrested by the guards and detained in the fort prison.

In order to grant people more freedom of design, the grid can be re-arranged to hex-grid.  This effect is only visual, however, by slanting the displayed columns by half a tile per column.  None of the underlying math or mechanics change.
