This then leads to the possibility of a dwarven civ built on a caste system of blood-drinking which values total blood volume above all else.
Even though the presence of a caste system of blood-drinking and high rates of vampirism are very often seen together, one does not necessarily imply the other.
To tie this in with the Villain Arc, villainous vampires seeking a variety of victims will target such civs to expand their influence.

Necromancers now have a new spell, Make Hostile. Anything that counts as a creature is a possible target. It makes its targets hostile to everything, including the necromancer.

That sounds like a perfectly reasonable spell effect for the upcoming myth&magic update. Enrages a creature and makes them hostile to everything until the spell wears off. A world where it's a permanent effect would be strange and terrifying, but possible to imagine being a thing.

Though it's not very tied to the "death" sphere, so necromancers probably won't get it very often. :P

A world where permanent rage is a possible, on-contact syndrome of megabeasts, though?

That sounds considerably more reasonable than it being a basic-level wizard spell that any sophont can learn? Megabeasts are s'posed to eff you up.

One of the possible origins of megabeasts is some kind of cult completely obsessed with magic, to the point that they managed to produce a beast so horrific, that they were all killed shortly after, their name lost to time, and the beast's existence forgotten.

A sub-species of cat that inflicts all who pat it with permanent rage.  The first thing they attack is, inevitably, the cat, which angers its owner as well, all but guaranteeing a tantrum spiral.

It's opposed to life AND unlife. And animate not-life.

Perma-rage would be Opposed to Everything that is Not Itself, but that's a bit long.

I'd actually really like to see an ability to switch to adventure mode at any time during a fortress game. Of course, this would cause trouble with time, so we'd just have to keep time at the fortress level. Meaning if you fast travelled at all, you immediately starve to death.

DF's combat system might be slightly trickier if every couple seconds translates to a whole day.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

Easy, every creature is slowed down to an insane degree, so even a "quick" punch to the torso takes a couple of hours.
