that was a luky dwarf. I had one dabbling surgeon fail so spectacularly that the patient skull flew a tile away from the table.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

You know it's bad when emotions will break your fireplace.

Its kinda silly to complain that a friendly NPC isn't a well designed boss fight.

You don't know sad until Muv-Luv Alternative has kicked you in the face with cancer kittens.

Though that might be cheating since it's a visual novel.

The Walking Dead (TellTale) - If you didn't cry on the ending, there's a 70% chance you're a robot with no emotions

i was gonna say this as well, if the ending of season 1 doesn't make you cry, i'll match that 70% robot chance with an additional 90% of being emotionally dead. its probably one of the best written sad moments in all of gaming. even when i know its coming, it still hits like a freight train of emotion.

i had a story in the "how did you die" thread about a moment in XCOM 2 that made me go "holy shit" in that surprising sad news way.

Marvel's Spider Man on the ps4 made me mildly sad. there's a certain common spiderman twist that you see coming a mile away but the good face cap and the gradual slip is a realistic depiction of a person who's lost a lot also suffering from a frightening neurological disease with no cure. it might be that it just hit close to home due to a real life example i've witnessed but it did get to me a bit.

Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

Bastion.
First time I reached the end I chose the restoration option. That cutscene made me cry.
I pressed the new game plus button as soon as possible.
