Nice. You know, if this ever wraps up, would you guys want to take part in a historical game based off of this idea?

Personally I think I'm going to write some more 'lore' on specific periods as a bit of a test to see what I like when it comes to writing, though I will of course write more on my own game when I get around to making it.

And yes, probably. Depends on how it goes really. First you'd have to figure out the timeline for this particular game, which is very vague about time.

I meant as in the idea of a map game, not the color world. Though that is a neat idea, actually.

Turn 5: IT'S RAINING (blue) MEN, HALLEUJAH

1: The Blue Federal Republic sends a massive paratrooper assault to the northeast corner of the DPR2. They're gonna get absolutely fucking wrecked, IT'S RAINING PARATROOPERS! HALLEUJAH! IT'S RAINING HOSTILE SOLDIERS! AMEN! (Sorry, I just had to make this shit joke, it was stuck in my head.) The paratroopers manage to sever a bunch of DPR2 territory from the mainland, and easily conquer the piece of land that has lost logistical support from the mainland.

2. The Blue Federal Republic set up a region of outposts in the land where their soldiers have successfully conquered.

3: The Green Socialist Republic creates a new prototype assault rifle design, with close to long range combat in mind, and with a built in underbarrel 40mm grenade launcher.

Nations List:
People's Democratic Republic of Red
Orange Theocracy
Serene Yellow Empire
Green Socialist Republic
Blue Federal Republic
Purple Territories
True White Empire

Turn 6: In which the other colours get revenge.

1. Since the Blue Federal Republic has began phase 1 of the plan, a paratrooper assault, The Serene Yellow Empire enacts phase 2: A full on military advance through the Orange Theocracy, which now officially announces that it is a vassal state of the Serene Yellow Empire, to attack the People's Democratic Republic of Red

2. The Blue Federal Republic digs in as the Serene Yellow Empire advances into enemy territory slowly. As this happens, the third and final phase of the plan is enacted: The Green rebellion! The Green Kingdom elements are currently in a war against the Green Socialist Republic, and it could go either way with both sides using the new guns to some extent!

3. The True White Empire continues to dig in, slowly creating a line of fortifications around there inner defences. The disorganized elements of the white rebellion has also hit a complete stand still that it's looking like they're going to lose, it just depends on how long it takes until the Reds can move the troops fighting them elsewhere.

People's Democratic Republic of Red
Orange Theocracy
Serene Yellow Empire
Green Socialist Republic
Blue Federal Republic
Purple Territories
True White Empire

A little question: How big is the map the game takes place in?

I'm not sure it really matters. Let's say the map is the size of the Continental US in height, though.

Turn Seven: The Long War

1. The organized White Imperial rebels begin to consolidate their stand as the disorganized supporters of their regime are forced to fall back from Red manpower. Using small prisms know as "Alignment Crystals", other colors can be turned to white through support of other nearby colors. The process is slow, due to the fact that a full range of colors are difficult to locate and bring together. Nevertheless, the Empire holds for now.

2. The Purple Territories prepare to declare war on the PDR2 in concert with Federal armies. However, an advance assault by the PDR2 forces unprepared Purple units to withdraw, despite moderately successful attempts from the Blue Federal Republic to push the invaders back.

3. Despite objectively superior arms, the more isolated of the Monarchal Green rebellions begin to fall and dissolve. A few hold on, especially a mobile force attempting to head south to reach the Blue front line. The primary rebellion holds, and the Green Socialist Republic is forced to start rationing food.

4. The Blue paratroopers receive reinforcements, and begin focusing on four bulges along the line to make the most of their limited manpower. Despite their success, the land they capture is still the heartland of the PDR2, and a few minor uprisings occur in less militarized cities.

5. The Serene-Federal alliance begins a major push from the front line near the Orange Theocracy. As of now their major plan is to have an advance to link up with Republican paratroopers, and another to enclose the True White Empire to either coerce them into joining the alliance or to keep them from becoming a threat.

Turn Eight: The Wall and the River

1. The Imperial push successfully captures the headwaters of the Rugre river, which runs through a long section of former red and green territory, and efforts are quickly made to secure the banks and establish a naval blockade. If this continues, the People's Democratic Republic of Red territory will soon be split into two disconnected parts!

2. Meanwhile, both the Yellow and Blue forces in the far west have advanced, pinning a small section of Red territory against the edge of the world. An opportunistic rush by the Yellows, in particular, cuts off all support to a small Red advance that had broached the borders of the Orange Theocracy. However, the Blue invasion finds it increasingly difficult to maintain control over the area they've claimed.

3. The PDR² continue to make gains on the Purple front, meeting little resistance — only to discover the project on which Republican engineers have been working in secret for months: a more than 250 pixels long Great Violet Wall which stops the Red advance dead in its tracks. Lacking artillery support due to budgetary shortfalls, the PDR² troops have no choice but to dig in and try to hold their side.

4. In the northeast, rampant shortages have triggered a series of revolts leaving the Green Socialist Republic in a state of virtual anarchy. Monarchist sentiment provides the most popular alternative for those dissatisfied with the new government, though some nationalists in certain historically autonomous regions have declared the establishment of various independent petty kingdoms.

5. A territory exchange is enacted between the Orange Theocracy and the Blue Federal Republic; all Orange territory southeast of the Great Violet Wall is ceded to the Republic in exchange for full recognition of all future Yellow and Orange claims on the region currently contested by the "alleged White Empire".

Turn Nine: In which mistakes have consequences.

1. The Blue Federal Republic forces in the northwest finally collapse under the pressure, retreating back to the corner and beginning to organize a heavily fortified area around that corner. It seems the massive amounts of effort require to build such a long, thick and tall wall in mere months has had consequences.

2. With the lack of Blue Federal Republic support the western push of the Serene Yellow Empire is cut off and surrounded, quickly followed by the super thin, long push of boats along the river being cut off due to literally being surrounded on three long sides by Reds and not having full control over the end of the river. However, there is still a considerable amount of manpower behind enemy lines and they could go out with a bang.

3.The Whites are officially considered their own colour by the southern colours due to the amount of power they control and the fact that they are taking full advantage of the situation. With the stipulation that the Whites get a large amount of red land, they have now switched sides and are currently assisting the Reds in taking down the southern colours.

4. Another faction rises in the fractured north east as a succession crisis in the Green Kingdom leads to it splitting in two, meanwhile the Green Socialist Republic is on the verge of collapsing as more and more petty kingdoms pop up inside it and one of the rebellion runs wild.

5. Disaster for the Blue Federal Republic! The Reds have developed their near lacking artillery and have developed cannons that fire solid shards of Red at their target which then corrupt all near bye to their colour, and are sending them to the Blue Federal Republic's wall!

Turn Ten: The Emperor's Battle

1) In the shattered remains of the Green Socialist Republic, the Loyalist Monarchists consolidate their stand. As it turns out, most of the citizens of the Separatist faction don't actually want to separate, so a few rebellions within the rebellion against the rebellion crop up. Yeah.

2) The forces of the Serene-Federal alliance undergo a massive evacuation by air, leaving only the fortified corner and a few holdouts to keep the PDR2's armies tied up.

3) The Blue Federal Republic, along with forces from the Purple Territories attempt to secure the land ahead of the wall to keep it safe from artillery assault. While this is mostly successful, the Red Army does cut a few chunks into the Wall.

4) The Serene-Federal launches an all out mass assault on PDR2 positions near the Orange Theocracy. By using garrison troops from the BFR freed up by the construction of the wall, along with veteran troops evacuated from the previous overextension, armies sweep across the country side, encircling enemy positions. The drive is slower this time, and less narrow. Enemy forces are concentrated into salients, and generals hope to recapture the fortified enclaves before they are lost. Even the Orange Theocracy gets in on the battle, with its troops undertaking minor offensives against the True White Empire and assisting in the main attacks.

5) A soldier in the Most Holy Orangist Militia discovers a discarded Alignment Crystal, and reports it to his superior officer. The crystal ends up being sent to a lab in the Blue Federal Republic...

6) The PDR2 withdraws its token peacekeeper force from the GSR. Basic needs are no longer being met, and the government dissolves completely, the capital soon being taken by the Usurpists. By all accounts, the GSR has failed as a state.

7) A scientist in the northernmost Petty Forest Kingdom modifies the Spimalento, a staple vegetable crop of the area, into a form that grows quickly and is exceptionally nutritious. By growing it in mass quantities, they are able to end the food crisis in their region and even draw new lands into their regime.

Turn Eleven: Operation Last Charge

1)In the North east, two new kingdoms pop up. The Northernmost Petty Forest Kingdom draws a lot of people into it's land due to being able to more easily meet the demands for food, and officially declares itself it's own kingdom. There are also rumours that the Blue Federal Republic has been giving them supplies.

2) In the West the isolated pockets of troops are mostly recovered in large operations that also include large encirclements. Massive advances are made, but there is a problem. An absolutely massive amount of PDR2 forces and resources has been ordered to charge straight through enemy land and wreak havoc on the actual land of the Oranges and Yellows. Meanwhile, the White Imperial Forces have started digging in at the land they already control and have started their own massive wall project behind the lines, facing the Serene-Federal forces.

3) The Blue Federal Republic has begun testing to figure out what they can do with the alignment crystal and are about a quarter of the way to figuring it out.

4) In the East a second massive force of PDR2 troops, including the artillery, is hurled at the weakened point in the lines and makes a breakthrough, with the same orders to cause as much chaos as possible behind the lines.

5) All threat from the Green Socialist Republic is completely non-existent, making it almost nothing more than free land to grab at this point.

6) The North western corner is being slowly worn down by constant artillery and a slow, stead march of the PDR2 army.

Turn Twelve: Dulce et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori

1. How much longer can this war go on? How many more will have to die before it ends? Such are the words on the lips of the mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters across the world, the words which form the rallying cry of the League of Peace, a movement which began in the Blue city of Azurath but has spread to all the nations to one degree or another. The League is made up of noncombatants who only want to see the end of war and of the senseless waste of life by all sides. In Red territory, the League's influence has grown to such an extent that many people now consider dodging the draft a higher civic duty than volunteering.
2. The political condition in the Green corner continues to deteriorate. While the Northern Green Kingdom expands further along the Rugre, a region a bit south declares its intention to join as a vassal state. Even further south, samples of the modified Spimalento cultivar have been smuggled into one of the Forest Kingdoms, which has unsurprisingly used this opportunity to expand through territory abandoned by the former GSR.
3. The frontiers of Red, Blue, and Yellow have experienced considerable reshaping with no side possessing a clear advantage. The death toll is staggering.
4. Tragedy struck a lab deep within the bowels of the Blue Federal Republic after a mysterious accident with a mysterious crystal recovered from White territory resulted in the surrounding area turning a sickly grey. Grey individuals appear to spread greyness by touch, so the whole area has been declared quarantined. No other effects are known.
5. The White advance has, for now, completely halted. Rumours abound as to the relationship between this fact and the event in the Republic.
