In a sign of how the "coalition" government shared between the Capitalist Party and the People's Power Party is likely to function over the next four years, Martyn Powell and Zelad Zeladvic each schedule simultaneous announcements on opposite sides of the parliament building after a night of tense negotiations — and each attempts to upstage the other by appearing nearly thirty minutes early.

On his side Zelad Zeladvic, flanked by senior members of the PPPP, several of whom are scowling, invites the Progressive Rational Party of Pankratinia to join the new government, noting their shared interest in Industrial Growth will greatly speed up the development of the Pankratinian economy and praising their commitment to Science and Technology as well.

Oddly absent is any mention of PRPoP's focus on Internal Stability, but hey, that's Barron Neville's problem.

Meanwhile, Martyn Powell would be speaking with the members of the PCP, trying to smooth over their worries, anger, and doubt about how things would actually remain coherent with the two most powerful parties being the one of the two most ideologically different from each other. Due to the fact that there needed to be another party in the coalition, and seeing how that one party out of all the others is concerned with Stability, something that most likely will be important considering the future of the government, Martyn would explain to the fellows in the party how while not exactly ideal, having the PRPoP keep order is better then letting the PPPP do something stupid like try to cause a revolution and split the country into two, after all, we don't need another revolution so soon after the last one. So, the PCP would extend the offer to the PRPoP to join the coalition that will hopefully not lead to another civil war...
