How this works is each 'turn' is a year and you can do 1 of 3 things: 1)attack someone, 2)ally someone, 3)raid someone.
If you attack someone you declare who you are attacking; if it is a player that player must declare if they wish to: 1)give into your demands, 2)pledge to be a vassal of you(this will promote you to a petty king), or 3)fight. If it is a none player I will roll for them. If the defending party is fighting than it will be you number vs their number + any bonuses to either side.
If you are raiding you can say how much of your number is going, min of 10%.
Numbers are gotten passively each turn and by raiding and conquering: passive gain is: 1 base + 1 for every vassal + 1 for every conquered duchy + 0.5 for each ally
Numbers are gotten actively by: 1d6 for raiding + 1; 2d6 for conquering + 1;
Number can be(and will be) lost by: attacking(varies); raiding(varies); yes you can loose more than you gain by raiding and conquering but remember it is short-term lost for, hopefully, long-term gain.
If you are attacked any raiding will be canceled.
Allies may come to you aid in defense or aggression, or not that is up to them.
Mechanic changes: 1) when attack specify how many point, max 90%;
2) when raiding specify how many points, max 60%;
3) you are allotted actions based on rank: counts 1, dukes 2, kings 3, emperors 4, defending does not count as a action;
4) all actions are allowed by all ranks;
5)attackers and defenders will lose points, defenders have a 10% bonus or 1 point bonus whichever gives more;
6) tech victory is now based on income: 50 min income at least double second place and after turn 10;
7) diplomatic victory is based on total points of allied players: combined points of 500, at least double second place allies, and after turn 10;
conquest victory is based on land mass: 75% of land give conquest victory regardless of turn, points, or income;
9) kingdoms require at least 2 duchies and 20 points, 10 of those points will be used to create the kingdom;
10) spending points on increasing you defense and offense bonus now increase you bonus by 1% per point or 0.1 per point which ever is more;
11) boats are require to be built: 1 point give 1 boat which allows 10 points to move across the sea, if you are raiding with boats you can store 50% extra for captured points only
12) base income is: 1 for counts, 2 for dukes, 3 for kings, 4 for emperors, increases by that number per title you own(counties do not count unless your primary title is a county), vassals give a percentage of their income to their liege(everyone please state your tax rates(this is changeable later))
13) changing actions is fine if it is redirecting an attack to an ally of your enemy or being called to help an ally and you wish to answer and help this turn, but you must edit your post that has your original action for that turn
14) empires require at least kingdoms and 50 points, 25 of those points will be used to create the empire
15) kingdoms and empires that you can create are what are in the history books and your imagination(you have to justify it if it is not in history)
More to be added as needed.
