Design Phase, Late Spring 1915Labordai Dylunio Awyrennau's "Clogfeini" bomber is a radical departure from local aircraft design, being a twin-tailed forward-staggered, two-bay, wire braced constant chord, tapered outer dihedral sesquiplane(with solid wings noless, with fueltanks built within) powered by four(two per wing) wing-mounted engine pods(intergrated into the wing's struts) for a total of eight 300 hp 18-cylinder double-bank rotary engines(REW's newest offering) in tractor-pusher "gyferbyn â chleddyf" configuration with an intended crew of atleast 6(10 preferred) and equipped with mounting points for no less than 6 sets of flexible gun mounts(nose, tail, dorsal, ventral-ish and two casemated, one on each side, all mounting the the recently built Cadwynog ŷd AGAA CD15 Mark 1 with their Drych sights. The nose and dorsal mounts are ring mounts, the others are holes with mounting hardware) intended to carry up to one ton of Deg punt Tri modfedd Bombs(able to be "aimed" via modified plotting tables and a version of the Drych sight equipped with offset mechanisms for airspeed) or two and a half tons(5600lb) of cargo(At the cost of reduced range: only perhaps 300 miles over the intended 600 with a bombload. At a cruising speed of about 100mph, this equates to three hours of flight time instead of six 6.) in a central bay and be equipped with a pair of GW78 Radios and a pair Llygad Hir Cameras(one downlooking, one offset 30 degrees to the left). Apparently the whole thing is based off of a Russian designed commercial airliner that flew even prior to the start of the great war, suitably updated(according to the design notes) with the best aircraft design techniques including improved geodetic framing(including strategically placed sections made of duralumin framing as opposed to simply wood), improvements on our movable control surfaces, vastly more powerful engines, and significant efforts made to reduce drag and increase strength with the exterior being formed of corrugated plywood sheathing.

The Clogfeini is a project that is likely to last for some time, though luckily its likely not to cost too much relatively speaking thanks to some cost cutting measures and some lucky contracts, somewhat spurred on by the desire to make a aircraft that doesn't need an escort or support to make it to the target, even with the recent worries of the enemy's Adderbolt, which has spurred on the designers to work fast and efficiently on the craft.

The Clogfeini is what can solidly be called a heavy bomber with a geodetic frame and cantilever wings that have two bays and a forward stagger while, similarly to a certain other heavy bomber, is a sesquiplane. Despite low early estimates at speed, due to the grand total of eight large and powerful Rhodri 18-300 D15 it can fly fairly quickly, at least when not fully loaded, at cruise speed, and even then its somewhat faster then expected when loaded to its maximum. It should be noted however that it 'drinks up fuel like its whisky' as one engineer put it, but its not really an issue considering how large the aircraft is and considering the fuel tanks it has stores enough fuel that it can go a fair distance.
When it comes to defenses the aircraft has, one might argue that is is excessive. Containing a crew of 10, of those, only the pilot, bombardier, flight engineer and a navigator aren't gunners, the other a six defend the aircraft with the guns in the nose, tail, upper wing, bottom, and the sides of the aircraft with the Cadwynog ŷd AGAA CD15 Mark 1, all of it making the craft practically always able to defend itself from almost any angle. Its bomb load is quite frankly huge, with two and a half tons of bombs ready to be dropped at short range, and a bit over one and a half tons for longer ranged missions.
Luckily, despite the absolutely massive craft, lots of care was given to make the craft as cost efficient as possible, and that was achieved thanks to the contracts mentioned earlier, which will certainly allow for the bombers to be massive hitting machines. Despite this however, it is expected to cost a lot due to its size, but quality beats quantity...

After all the work on the Clogfeini, our engineers weren't so motivated to work on the Parasiwt, much more inclined to go on perfecting the work on the great big aircraft that surely will make the enemy rule the day. They still would get the chute done however, despite their focus lying elsewhere. Nothing else really is to be said...
Project Complete! You can now equip all squadrons with the Parasiwt!

Planes:
-AGC ‘Saeth’ Biplane: A unarmed, single-seater reconnaissance plane made by Awyrennau gwynt cryf, also known as Strong wind aviation. Very accurately named, as its a fairly fast aircraft that is about as easy to turn as a arrow in flight is and not even a strong wind will really push it. The craft is fittingly powered by a five-cylinder rotary engine and made of wood and canvas making it fairly cheap to make. Cost: 3/1
--AGC-AMD "Saeth" Biplane: A AGC Saeth variant made after AGC merged with Atebion Mecanyddol Deinamig. It has improved control surfaces, better aerodynamics, and better wing placement allowing it to be more maneuverable and slightly faster both in climb speed and more traditional speed. Its basically a better version of the old Saeth though it is still powered by the same engine.
---AGC-AMD "Saeth" Mod 2B Biplane: A variant of the AMD variant that has the improved Rhodri engine and the mounts for two machine guns on the spars near the top side of the wing. Its needless to say faster then the normal AGC-AMD thanks to the engine, though is slower when armed. Costs 4/1
-ACG-AMD AC15 "Saethydd": A two-seater biplane with a Rhodri 10-140 D15 Radial engine in a pusher configuration. The Saethydd mounts two machineguns, one locked in the front for use by the pilot and one for the observer on a ring mount sitting forward of the pilot. Is reasonably fast and maneuverable for its size and very easy to maintain. Cost 5/1.
--Saethydd ACG-AMD AC15 Mod B: A variant of the Saethydd with a Radio, Rhodri 10-180 D15, and camera's. It costs slightly more to make, but its easily enough maintained like the original. Costs 6/1
--ACG-AMD AC15 Mod B/B "Psygotwyr": A Naval variant of the Mod B with Pontoons so it can take off and land on water. It does impact its performance slightly, but not too much overall. Costs 6/1 like the Mod B.
-AGC-AMD AC15 "Cefyll": A two-seater biplane with a Rhodri 10-160 D15 engine that has a nasty habit of cutting out. Has a steel cowling over the engine and a steel skin over the pilot and gunner, offering a bit more protection. Also has three guns, all used by the gunner with two pointed downward. Slightly faster than the Saethydd. Cost 6/1 (In Development)
-ACG-AMD AC15 "Nodwydd": A single-seater pusher biplane with a Rhodri 10-180 D15 engine that works fine. Has a frame made entirely out of duralumin and also two forward facing guns. Much faster than the Saethydd. Cost 6/2
-LDA ABC15 "Clogfeini": A large heavy bomber armed to the teeth and loaded to the brim with bombs. Powered by a pusher puller method with eight engines in four pods. Quite fast when unloaded... Costs 11/4 (In Development)
Balloons:
-C15 Tŵr Awyr: A two man balloon with a full capacity of 5. One to two people watch out and observe the lines from the sky and take notes while one to two manage communications with the ground. Comes with two sets of Binoculars, two Legal pads, and a Sextant, Radio currently not tested. Costs 2/1
Equipment:
-Bloeddiwr 79: A radio fully integrated with an aircraft that in total adds an extra fifty pounds to the aircraft. Like the GW 78 it is a Morse code receiver/transmitter. Works at frequencies of 400-600kHz and has a 10 mile range. Costs 2
-AGAA AC15: A open bolt air cooled machine gun that fires 8.07mm rounds at about 600 per minute. Quite reliable all things considered. Costs 1 PP
-Cadwynog ŷd AGAA CD15 Mark 1: A 2/3 inch, 16.76mm machinecannon with a good fire rate of about fifteen hundred per minute due to using its recoil to fire and packs a good punch. Costs 1 PP
-Deg punt Tri modfedd Bomb: A 10 pound bomb packed full of HE, It doesn't have too much power for obvious reasons, but it works well against targets that aren't dug in when used en mass or when dropped on things that are volatile when things violently explode next to them. Costs 1 PP
-Llygad Hir camera: A infinitely focus, glass plate, manually loaded camera that is held by a pilot to take pictures. Also takes nice pictures of the entire squadron. Costs 1 PP
-Fasged Addasiad: A bomb clamp that can be adjusted to hold multiple small bombs or one larger bomb. Can be applies to any aircraft and its cargo is released by the pull of a leaver. Costs 1 PP for two.
Pilots:
-Vigilant: Information in advance is key to any war! Pren Gwyn pilots are very alert and tend to see things in the distance and make out what they are easier.
-Uniforms: green with white accents. Pilots are granted an arrow made of pure copper as a good luck charm to keep with them on their flights, being granted a iron, steel, bronze, silver and gold one to add to their collection as they gain rank.
-Codi Sheision Gollwng Clwb's "Parasiwt" C15: A parachute that has a back up in case of any failures. Issued to all of our pilots thanks to a bit of a steal of a deal that allowed a lot of silk to be purchased in bulk to make the things.
