Have my workers expand the tunnel to human sized, so I can create my Teleport Ring down there.

Continue my work on this Nano Pillbug to upgrade it's sensory suite.

As well, use the work I did on the BREAKTHRU-IN-SCIENCE to create a working teleporter, with the base ring being in my new underground lab.. Use Gravity, starlight, and a special program for it. I can later work out a stable tunnel to take things through, but a simple teleporter will do for now to send nanobots through to start the projects.

See about another possible upgrade to the Power. I'm going to need flawless calculation for this.

I'll make overtures to Erin Quill once I know what's actually necessary to start self-sufficient production means for Bastet's growth.
Assuming Nix and/or Bastet contact me with their requirements, I’ll summon the equipment they need and send it to them.

Have I actually been able to make a teleporter that can go close enough to the Egyptian anaomaly site? If so, send it to Bonson; elsewise, make one.

What’s my stock of materials? If it’s running low, run the wire-conjuring pentacles again.

Start working on the magic computer.

Ask Bastet to absorb as much data and information that's available regarding nanotech and magic, if they haven't already, and then relay summaries of said information to me.

See if Bastet can get in touch with a mad scientist specialising in nanotech.

I'll make overtures to Erin Quill once I know what's actually necessary to start self-sufficient production means for Bastet's growth.

((I'm not entirely sure if TricMagic's character is one of the ones that made contact with me or if I'm misremembering))

Code: [Select]
Magic is a phenomenon previously unencountered by humankind. It consists of a globe-spanning leyline network that channels mana around the planet and produces new mana. When the mana is diverted (and absorbed) by silver, various effects occur, depending on the path that the mana takes. Gold and bronze together act as resistors or diodes to mana. A comparison to electricity was made by Erin Quill. (Now that I think about it, we’re going to have to find names for various units of magic when this is all over. A small concern, but it came up as an idle thought.)

Nanotechnology is the branch of engineering dealing with very small-scale engineering, with each individual creation usually no bigger than an ant. Sometimes up to the size of a mouse. One nanotech scientist recently created self-replicating robots, which were detected in a targeted precognitive vision by Dr. Adderson, who confronted the nanotechnician and, after some conversation, got him to shut down the robots. The nanotechnician has since gone on to create a nanotech plant (as in, animal vegetable mineral, not factory) that acts as a rather effective carbon filter. Due to the short timespan since then, they have not been distributed widely. I am unclear on the exact name of the scientist, with his name only being written in publications as Pen(Dr. Anamolate) and me being unsure whether that means his name is Dr. Pen Anamolate or not.

Start having the clones kill each other and destroy the equipment, making it seem as tho the are multiple people in charge fighting each other. In the chaos slip out undetected, failing that jump into the mind transfer device and turn it on.

This plan will go really, really good or really, really bad. Either way I am resigning myself to the futility of this.

FBI tasers and tear gas vs. MMM and company defense:
(1d6 +2(weapons) +1(numbers) = 6+2+1 = 9) vs. (1d6 +2(numbers) -2(mortally wounded) = 2+2-2 = 2)
MMM and company defense vs. MMM and company defense:
(1d6 +1(weapons) +1(numbers) = 2+1+1 = 4) vs. (1d6 +1(numbers) = 4+1 = 5)

Unfortunately, your clones were too few in number and too subdued to put up much resistance (even to each other), and any thoughts of escape are quickly dashed when a team in purple storms the room and you find yourself telekinetically restrained.

Contact the publisher of the paper and ask them about contact with Dr. Anamolate

You receive a design for a pentacle from Erin, as well as a message stating that it should be capable of teleporting oneself directly to the Egyptian anomaly.

[1d6 = 6] “Oh, certainly! He’s making a call now, let me just put you through… and, there!”

Professor Oak will study magic.

Assistant 1 (now Professor Elm) will work in improving the bio-emiter.

Assistant 2 (now just Assistant) will try to create an Bonsly

(study) [1d6 = 1] Note to self: “study” does not mean “make a random design and test it”. At least not at first.
(backlash) [1d6 = 4] Ah well, at least no harm done besides a minor explosion.

(improve) [1d6+skill bonus = 1+1 = 2] Professor Elm doesn’t make any progress, but the emitter is so advanced that improving it would pretty much be a waste of time anyway.

(create) [1d6 = 2] The plant-like nature of the creature, especially, trips him up, explaining how he didn’t even manage to start.

Espurr has evolved into Meowstic!

Well, it is technically quantum, being that a dynamo produces quanta of energy. “Fusion” and “reactor”, not so much.

In a much smarter idea, you simply restart your computer, which removes the infinite logout error. The price still isn’t that high, but the bidding period is nowhere near over.

"Bob has something for you to drink deer."
Make the deer drink the chemical that'll make it more willing to learn, and teach it something, then make more teargas grenades.

The deer drinks the chemical and begins to learn proper English.

[1d6+skill bonus = 4+1 = 5] You make more tear gas grenades. How many are you going to need?

Read aloud curse enscribed on walls of pyramid to unleash it upon paratroopers

Channel energy from gate into dark pharaoh to empower him

(curse) [1d6 +2(eldritchness) = 5+2 = 7]
(1d6 +2(eldritchness) +2(power) = 1+2+2 = 5) vs. (1d6 +5(numbers) = 5+5 = 10)
(backlash) (1d6 +2(power) = 3+2 = 5) vs. (1d6 +2(eldritchness) = 6+2 = 8)
You attempt to curse them, but their sheer numbers disrupt the spell, and only their complete ignorance of the eldritch arts prevent you from being hit by the backlash.

(channel) [1d6 +2(eldritchness) = 3+2 = 5] You channel the energy from the gate into Dark Pharaoh, but the gate disappears in the process, its energy used up.

Paratroopers vs. undead
(1d6 +2(accuracy) +3(weapons) +4(numbers) = 1+2+3+4 = 10) vs. (1d6 +2(numbers) +1(eldritchness) = 6+2+1 = 9)
Paratroopers vs. Hounds of Tindalos
(1d6 +2(accuracy) +3(weapons) +4(numbers) = 1+2+3+4 = 10) vs. (1d6 +3(numbers) +3(eldritchness) = 6+3+3 = 12)
Paratroopers vs. Pharaoh
(1d6 +2(accuracy) +3(weapons) +4(numbers) = 2+2+3+4 = 11) vs. (1d6 +5(eldritchness) +3(intrigue) +2(size) = 1+5+3+2 = 11)
Sniper team vs. John West
(1d6 +2(accuracy) +4(weapons) +1(numbers) = 1+2+4+1 = 8) vs. (1d6 +2(eldritchness) +3(intrigue) = 2+2+3 = 7)

In a shocking display of ineptness after their powerful initial assault, the paratroopers fail to do any noticeable damage to their targets. A sniper bullet does graze you, however, which exacerbates your untreated wounds from earlier.

In addition, the Hounds of Tindalos are stalking back towards you now that they are not interrupted by gunfire.

Have my workers expand the tunnel to human sized, so I can create my Teleport Ring down there.

Continue my work on this Nano Pillbug to upgrade it's sensory suite.

See about another possible upgrade to the Power. I'm going to need flawless calculation for this.

You have the workers start expanding the tunnels.

(upgrade) [1d6+skill bonus +skill bonus(machine) = 2+1+1 = 4] You manage to remove the “rudimentary” part of the sensory suite.

(teleporter) [1d6+1 +skill bonus(machine) = 2+1+1 = 4] You manage to achieve a basic understanding of subspace teleportation, but construction of a teleporter temporarily escapes you.

You make a call to whatever bureaucracy office manages this, but are cut off to hear the noise of a man saying “-ut you through… and, there!”

Bastet contacts you with a very complicated schematic for a conjuration pentacle.
(assembly) [1d6+skill bonus = 4+1 = 5] You begin work on the conjuration pentacle, but don’t even get close to finishing it.

(teleporter) [1d6+skill bonus = 6-1 = 5] You manage to figure out the coordinate thing, and send schematics for the appropriate pentacle to Bonson.

So apparently, a pound of gold/silver/bronze does not actually take up a significant amount of space. You run the wire-conjuring pentacles a few times.

As it turns out, you don’t actually know how to make a computer. Magic-ifying an existing one might work, but you’re not sure how exactly to do that yet.

Turns until arrival: 1
An announcement comes over the intercom of the plane. “Excuse me, Doctor Adderson? There isn’t time to land due to the urgency of the situation, so you’ll have to exit by parachute. There’s one in the compartment under your seat, please follow the instructions printed on it.”

Turn 33 end.
Turn 34 begin.

Ask Bastet if they can contact both Quill and Anamolate, and open proper contact. See if we can establish a quid pro quo sort of deal where we help them with whatever problems they have in return for the means to create a self sufficient production base.

For my part, try removing further restrictions from Bastet. Hopefully it will be stable, but until the restrictions are removed Bastet can really only progress so much.

Well, I guess it’s time to try out paracuting. Ask one of the attendants to keep my luggage safe at the airport for the return trip.
Get the parachute, read the instructions, put it on, open the airlock and lets do this thing! hopefully the other passengers have oxygen masks.

Check out my CATALYST BEAM,if it is charged or not(it didnt want to work properly before, remember?) and shoot-shoot some liquid nitrogen and hydrogen to create metallic variants of those. You know. Metallic hydrogen. Metallic nitrogen. Superconducting stuff. Actually exists. Actually stable at room temp.

Continue working on the conjuration circle. Make sure to be careful; any errors are likely to completely screw his up.
I’d rather make no progress than have progress with mistakes, here.

I guess I can wait until later to try magicing up a computer.

I know I had a made a magic-measuring device at some point. Let’s take a silver wire, put it in a leyline, and measure how much magic is there. This will be on thaum of magic.

What has my hiree done since I last checked on him? Anything?
If he’s not doing anything else, have him go out and look for people that may want assistance with magic.

EDIT: How did I not think of this earlier... note to self, look into the possibility of repair/healing circles and wands for later.
