Regular rolls use standard RTD results.

However, gaining skill will push your rolls towards a 5 by 1 per skill level. You start with 1 skill level in the field that you excel in.
Your creation/discovery adds a +1 to all rolls involving it.

Combat rolls work as follows:

Every combat turn, both parties attack.
An attack consists of the attacker and defender rolling a d6. After modifiers to the rolls are applied, consult the following table:
Attack roll is 5+ more than the other's defense roll: Defender is dead unless defender has method of counteracting such
Attack roll is 4 more than the other's defense roll: Defender is mortally wounded and has -2 to all rolls
Attack roll is 3 more than the other's defense roll: Defender is severely wounded and has -1 to all rolls
Attack roll is 2 more than the other's defense roll: Defender is wounded and has -1 to all combat rolls
Attack roll is 1 more than the other's defense roll: Defender is grazed
Attack result is (4 or more) less than the other's defense roll: Defender can make a free counterattack.
Two grazes are equivalent to a wound. Two wounds are equivalent to a severe wound. Three wounds are equivalent to a mortal wound. Four or more wounds, or the equivalent, cause death.

Penalties for wounds only apply after the end of the combat turn in which they were dealt.

You may sacrifice your non-counterattack attacks in order to make a regular action.

Speedsters come in different tiers, with every character assumed to be a Speedster 0 unless otherwise stated. For each tier, the following buffs are granted: A bonus to all speed rolls, makes twice as many attacks per combat turn, and +1 to all defense rolls (due to being able to dodge attacks better). Note: if two speedsters fight, then combat is resolved as if the one with a higher speedster level had a speedster level equal to (higher level minus lower level) and the one with a lower speedster level had a speedster level of 0. This means that fights between equal-tiered speedsters will be resolved as if they both had a speedster level of 0. (Note: this rule technically applies for all fights, but due to the way the system is defined it has no effects unless both fighters have a non-0 speedster level.)

I'm glad you approve of this! For your bonus, would you like... wait shoot I never put in the combat mechanics. This post will be edited when I put them in. A question. Are the organs inside your body, or just in storage as backups?
