Positive plane:i am the only gloryGo to positive plane and offer my servitude to the One True God
That glowing halo burns away at you. It hurts, of course, but I won't bother describing it. You get the picture, right? [50 Vitality permanently lost]
The One True God gives you a bemused look when you arrive and immediately offer your service.
"Ah, so there are other godlings out there."It smiles at you, with teeth as wide as a galaxy and as sharp as obsidian.
"Tell me, what service do you think you could provide to me? What is my desire.
WHY DO YOU THINK I SHOULD HELP YOU, WHEN I COULD JUST KILL YOU?"God leans ever forwards, looking farther into you. You find the Light, and the LIGHT burns through your veins, and your eyes are scorched with its pattern. And you can see the pattern, and nothing else. [Stipulation gained: Must always follow the will of the One True God.]
"You will answer my question, and then I will decide how best you may serve me."[Vitality is not drained while in the Positive plane]

Must always follow the will of the One True God.
Positive corona:The area directly outside the Positive plane. It is bright and unsuitable for life. Gods in this location passively absorb 8 Essence per turn.
There is a world named TYRNM here, which currently consists of one big glob of molten stone, and innumerable molten stone fragments expanding throughout the world's considerable area.Go to the positive corona: 15X[2]-Flatten void into vacuum making sure that it is all in the same area as before
2X[6] Create a large body of mass: dirt+stone

[4] Grant life to the stone giant
[6] Create a large body of mass: stone this is above the the previous body hopefully in an orbital velocity.
everything else into vitality(should be at least 10)
"Hmm, maybe I need something, BIGGER!"
New stipulation: Bigger is better: If possible will strive to make at least 1 big thing each turn.
You return to the corona, a trail of light billowing behind you. [+8 Essence]
You flip the state of a bunch of void from "all" to "space only". It's a... pretty big area, I guess. [-30 Essence]
Next you create a tiny (compared to the space you've made) mass of stone and soil, a decently mixed big rock in space. [-12 Essence]
On the surface of your brand new asteroid, you make four even tinier boulders, and mush them together in the shape of a creature. [-6 Essence]
Having made a pretty decent statue, you decide to hit it up with some life. The energies flow into its body and get to work, getting it to... work. Agents of Essence writhe through, forming stone organs, stone tissues. And then, when they're finished, it begins to move. [-4 Essence]
Your stone titan looks up at the grand nothingness you've placed it in, and creates a slow, grinding howl. And then it crumbles, being a living creature made entirely out of stone.
((Yes, that is somewhat different from what happened with the water elemental. The difference is that the elemental is motile, but not
alive, and is therefore unable to reproduce naturally. Also it costs a bit more to create one than it does to bring something to life. If you'd paid 7 or more essence, or just not given an essence cost, I'd probably have gone ahead and made you an elemental. But you're not getting one for only 4.))
You create a smaller asteroid a short distance away from your main one. It orbits very, very, very slowly, because there's not really a lot of mass around here. [-6 Essence]
After that little performance of creative creation, the LIGHT comes to take what it is owed. Rock boils. The LIGHT'S pressure pushes the two bodies closer together, and they collide, a pair of glowing red drops hitting each other at speed, spewing glowing embers in all directions.
You like big buttes, and you are now incapable of lying about it. I hope it's worth it. [Stipulation gained: Must always create something large each turn] [-10 Drain]

Vitality: 20/100

Must always follow the will of the One True God.
If near an area without Light will try to spread Light there.
Must always create something large each turn.
Intersphere voidIntersphere void: The void directly between the Positive plane and the Negative plane. Empty except for some god corpses, and the flow of white to black and vice-versa. Gods in this location passively absorb 5 Essence per turn.
There is a plane here, which hold a barren planet formed from the husks of dead gods. It is named Sonos.Enter the vacuum, pulling the old gods in with me. Using myself as a core, surround myself with their corpses, drawing the tiny amounts of essence remaining within them. Compress, and then use all my essence to create stone and dirt, becoming a planet. If needed, I will be the foundation.
[+5 Essence]
Nice.
You grab as many god corpses as your can and drag them into space. Placing yourself in the center, you surround yourself with their bodies, drawing their Essence into yourself. Among other things.
A chain reaction is struck, and you begin to become corporal. Iron, stone, sand. It spreads like a wave through the other corpses, and they too become solid. And indeed they begin to expand. More and more mass comes into being, what remains of godly ambition becoming the living stone. They twist and tumble, creating spin in the new body. Creating heat. Your flesh melts and becomes molten, the iron core of a newborn planet.
As the wave expands ever farther, it also creates more space, to accommodate a brand new planet. Around the edges, space folds over itself, covering up the world in a protective pocket. So, you have created not just a planet, but a plane to hold it.
When all is said and done, you are no longer a God. You are a planet.
Health: 50/50
Potential: 4((You've essentially died. However, you can still use some of your Potential to effect change. You no longer experience Vitality drain, and Potential doesn't drain away at the end of the turn. However, graining Potential is a rare event.))
Negative corona:The area directly outside the Negative plane. It is dark and ominous. Life could bloom here, but it would be defined by dark. Gods in this location passively absorb 7 Essence per turn.
Here there is a small and curious world, named Ecosystem Habitat 0001, contained in a sphere of plastic. Most of the world consists of a body of water that is also a water elemental. The water is inhabited by black algae, catfish, and shadow catfish.
Here there is an object called Supervoid. It is nothing. It consumes nothing. All within is nothing.Rakau replies.
"Be fruitful and multiply."
All essence into staying alive. Go to Positive Corona if possible after this (provided I still get any essence bonuses from the other planes there).
Before leaving for the Positive corona, you reply to your elemental.
"Fruit. Multiply. Hmm. No. Water only divides. Life bears fruit. Life multiplies. But Water is not life."The elemental stops. It doesn't say anything for a few days, as if mulling something over.
"Life must have Water. With Water, life multiplies, bears fruit. Without Water, life withers, dies."Water seems content with this interpretation of your orders, and promptly crushes every shadow catfish (which needlessly prey on other life) into jelly. The Darkness shrieks in anger. Uh oh.
You arrive in the Positive corona and soak in the light. {Essence +8]
The catlike one sends you a spot of Essence. [1 Essence received]
Can sacrifice bring about life, or is its deadly nature antithesis? Is it worth it to die for a cause you'll never live to see come to fruition? [-9 Essence] [-1 Vitality]

I will never act to destroy life.
I will never project a physical avatar.

I will never create anything unless in order to create or nurture life.
I will never alter living creatures against their will.Ditch the sphere-throwing.
T-there's some hope...
[4] - Grant life to something inanimate - The cats.
[1] - Create a small amount of normal material - Shadow catnip. Taps into the Darkness for sustenance. Also has backup chloroplasts in case this ecosystem gets transported somewhere else.
[4] - Grant life to something inanimate - The shadow catnip.
[?] - Grant sentience to something living - The cats. Restructure and optimize their brains for human-like intelligence.
If possible, give 5 vitality to Rakau.
Elemental, can you please not flood the Balcony? It could drown my creations.
[+7 Essence]
Feeding. Breeding. Living. Strange meaty paste in the water. Tasty. Wonder where it came from. No more predator fish. New predators. Furred terrors. [+2 Essence]
Firstly, you hit your pair of cats with a burst of Essence, to get them moving. They begin to stir, and open their eyes. A pair of new minds assess the environment. Of course, they're looking for prey. [-4 Essence]
They find that prey in the form of catfish swimming below the surface. They dive into the water, nab a few fish in their jaws, then swim back to the air, landing on the inside surface of the plastic sphere to catch their breath and eat their catches. It works well enough. And it terrifies the catfish.
The cats are intelligent, but find little challenge in hunting slow fish. They live simple and happy lives. Little to remark on. [+1 Essence]
Among the remains of the deceased regular natnip plants. You build a few shadow catnip plants, better adapted to the environment. Their leaves have a splotchy black and green pattern, allowing them to absorb energy from both darkness and light. Well, they would have such a pattern if there were light here to see it with. Unfortunately the mixture of strategies makes them less effective at either method, so they could be quickly outcompeted by pure dark or light plants, depending on which environment they inhabit. [-1 Essence]
A burst of Essence sees this species grind to a start, too. Roots dig in, leaves unfurl to embrace The Darkness. The Darkness returns the favor, enveloping the plants. [-4 Essence]
"We remember this. Or something like it. Sweet fumes. Yes, we will grow this, as well."The cats gnaw on the catnip, too. Because, well, of course they do. The cats binging destroys as many plants as are born, creating a sort of uneasy equilibrium, with the plants at near-constant risk of being driven extinct by felines chasing a high.
[1 Essence given]
A celestial cat chews on your stem, and you fall. The weak fall to those stronger than themselves. Is this inherent, or can there be a better way? [-10 Vitality]
Vitality: 37/142
Essence: 0
Drain: 20
Stipulations:
At all times, I will try to propagate catnip over all possible surfaces.
At all times, I will try to aid the propagation of felines at all costs.
At all times, I will attempt to purge all canines from my vicinity.
((Well, it wasn't
exactly a death, but I'll be accepting one more from the waitlist now, as Sonos will be less active as a planet's life force.
Draignean, feel free to set up anywhere.
Next update is Saturday the 15th.))
