Family Heirloom Artifacts

So I'm noticing that all my artifacts are being "claimed" as family heirlooms by the creator.  None of them are going to my artifact stockpiles to give good moodlets.  Can I fix this somehow?

Put them on display furniture. You don't really need artifact piles any more.

Also, items just laying in stockpiles never gave good thoughts to anyone but the player.

Of course, player is most important, but still.

My museum in my latest fort is filling up quickly with family heirlooms .. and I'll never give any of them back to the creators...  :D

And it doesn't seem artifact trinkets are worn, which is a waste. At least the artifact cups are used for drinking.
