Riisi was glad that someone else tried the worms first. Still, Riisi was a little distracted, not really paying attention to what they were supposed ot be looking for.

Fyodor Saltsvits and Atil spotted a pair of skeletal legs, sticking out from under a tree. It's clothes were gone, but a mix of coins sat under a key by the skeletal hip. It looked curiously more like the tree had landed on the body than the other way around.

Brother Jonathan looks around "Where is it, I can't see it yet." He looked just over the sight.

Once the skeleton is pointed out to Mr. Shredder, the Hobgoblin scratches his chin. "Something isn't right. Why is the tree on top of him? And why is his corpse already a skeleton? Everybody stand back. I'm going to play this one safe."

Mr. Shredder casts Mage Hand to retrieve the key and coin from 30ft away.

The tree rises as the key moves. It's eyes open, and narrow at you as it's towering form bends towards you, moss and dust falling from the cracks in it's bark.

"Nine Hells! I knew it! Its a living tree!"

The Hobgoblin moves back as the tree begins to wake, and blasts it with a Ray of Frost!

Move Action (Now 60ft away from tree)
Ray of Frost (14 to hit, 5 damage, Tree's Speed reduced by 10ft)

Dullahan decided to use the advantage of range. Still moving to the front of the party, as he tossed a firebolt right into the center of the tree. "Well then let's see how it likes fire!" (Attack = 14, Damage = 9)

Jonathan's silver fire struck near harmlessly into the wood, but Dullahan's fire erupted through it's dried foliage and along it's bark, spreading and burning far faster than anyone might have expected.

Riisi... has seen so many things since leaving their home city. But living trees? Those have no fleshy bits to stick pointy things into. And if trees were alive... did that mean people made stuff out of tree... bones?
Despite this intense philosophical quandry going on in the small rat-bird-thing's head, it looks to everyone else like it's standing there and drooling slightly, a confused, vacant look on their face.

(Riisi is holding action until given an order to do otherwise, due to "stab it till it doesn't move" not being effective means to kill a tree.)
