Mr. Shredder just shakes his head and brings the Airskiff around. "Come on Sormias. Lets get you back to the Kraken. You are not going to be of much use to the adventure in your present state."

The Hobgoblin ponder's the abberation's defiance momentarily, before deciding to let her have her way. "Alright then. Everybody onto the Skiff. Let us explore up the cleft and see if we can find that damn Captain! For a probably dead guy, he sure plays a mean game of hide and seek!"

Mr. Shredder takes the Skiff up the cleft, to see what he may find.

The skiff glided swiftly up the cleft of earth for about a mile or so. Trees passed lazily to either side faster than any of you could walk, but only about half again as fast, like taking a boat downriver. The dense woods ahead were too thick for the skiff to navigate, and you would have to leave it behind. By the time you'd gotten there, Sormias' stomach was empty, but she still wasn't feeling hungry.

The woods loomed ahead. You'd guess that if the body fell from the ship, it must be somewhere within the next few miles in this direction.

Mr. Shredder brings the Skiff to a gentle landing. "Alright! Into the woods it is. As tempting as it is to split up and cover more ground, stay close. This planet is full of surprises!"

"This is a very wide search area. Splitting up should be considered but avoided if possible."

The woods were thick, and filled with distant, strange sounds, and nearer rustling sounds: sometimes a beetle, sometimes just the wind.

If we are looking for the captain, should we not look in the area around the crash. I don’t think it is likely for him to have left the ship, willingly. Not many would leave their towns, even if they were being invaded.”

"We already checked around the ship pretty thoroughly," Mr. Shredder replies, "I'll admit this is a bit of a long shot, but who knows what else we may find in an alien forest!"

Dullahan walked along, trying to keep attention, but really all he saw was trees and trees. (Perception = 5) "We did look around near the crash. Remember he was way up in the air when the ship went down, we're thinking he got knocked off the ship as it crashed."

Mr. Shredder, who is by no means a perceptive person under normal circumstances, is trying extra hard to be aware of his surroundings in these strange alien woods.
